The episode starts by showing us the H.I.V.E. students, Jinx, Mammoth and Gizmo, while they try to commit a bank robbery. Soon the Titans arrive, and they begin to fight with the villains. Finally the "bad guys" manage to escape, but they don't know Robin succeeded in putting a tracking device on Jinx.
So the Titan's can finally find out where the H.I.V.E's headquarter is. Robin wants to know their secrets first, and plans to send a spy into the evil organization. Beast Boy wants to do it, but at the end they choose Cyborg for the mission, who built a robot replacement, which can take his place during his mission so nobody will realize the real Cyborg is gone.
He also makes a holographic generator, in case to cover his identity, and choose an alias: Stone (which is his real name in the comics, Victor Stone).
Under this name, and because of his new look, he manages to infiltrate into the H.I.V.E. He slowly gains trust and respect among his classmates, and even the new boss, Brother Blood, becomes interested in him, too.
But before he could steal all of their secrets, Brother Blood confronts him and says he knows about his true identity, and he promises Cyborg a real, human life if he joins him. (And he tries to brainwash him, too.)
The Titans begin to worry because of their friend, when he doesn't respond. They break into the headquarter, but they also walk into a trap. And the real Cyborg leads the villains against them. He seemingly joined to Brother Blood, but in the end it turns out that Blood didn't succeed in brainwashing Cyborg, and he just wanted to capture the "school-director"'s new, secret weapon.
After crushing down the whole building, the Titans go home together.
