Robin's helmet and cape design mirrored another anime series-Gatchaman. Gatchaman is best known to American audiences are Battle of the Planets, G-Force, and Eagle Riders. Around the time this episode was being made, the original version of Gatchaman dubbed in English was being released on DVD.
The team insists that Beast Boy stay to work while they handle the UFOs towards the end of the episode. However, despite the fact the team comes close to losing the fight, they don't consider calling Beast Boy, nor are they concerned for what else happens to Beast Boy.
In one scene, you can see the "Help Wanted" sign, which wasn't necessary because Beast Boy was already working there.
There is no way Beast Boy could have been able to transport any of those cows back to the Titans Tower with just a moped.
Why didn't Robin have any sort of objection or concern about Beast Boy getting a job if his sole job is protecting the city?
When the Titans are running after Cyborg, Robin has his normal cape on before the starting. After the starting, he has his flying cape on.
When Beast Boy finds out that Mega Meaty Meat and it's real "manager" are up to no good, he attacks Bob out of self-defense, then turns around and starts to panic 'cause he'll get fired. Right now, wouldn't that be the least of his problems, especially since technically the restaurant and his boss are fakes?
The sign in the "Mega Meaty Meat" window originally says "Help Wanted," but later says "Human Help Wanted."
When everyone is screaming and running out of the restaurant, the "Human Help Wanted" sign is in the window, even though Beast Boy took it down earlier.
When the team is swarmed by many collector ships, Raven raises her hand and charges up her aura; in the next shot, however, her arm is back down by her side.
Before Beast Boy shuts down the Destruct-o-Tron, the hole he is supposed to make to get into it is already there, before he actually makes it.
When Beast Boy is serving up the team's orders, Cyborg has no circuitry design in his blue parts.
Beast Boy: How come I'm the only one who actually has to run?
Beast Boy: (Notices the same sign attached to the same Mega Meaty Meat Building) Seriously, not sweet.
Beast Boy: (Notices the "Help Wanted" sign) Help wanted?! Sweet. (Realizes the sign was attached to the Mega Meaty Meat building) Ugh. Not sweet.
The Source: Your magnificent cows are mine!
The Source: Submit to my greatness, and I might just spare your pathetic-uh... what- what is this?
Beast Boy: Lunch... and I just happen to be in the mood for a nutritious meat free substitute!
The Source: Really? Y... you're just trying to scare me!
Beast Boy: Am I? Say hello to my good friend, barbecue sauce!
The Source: Yes, green human. And when we leave, we will blow up your planet!
Beast Boy: What?! Why? What have we ever done to you?
The Source: It is our way... we are Newfu.
Robin: So, what happened to the alien leader?
Beast Boy: Um, oh. He's in the fridge. (Remembers Cyborg went to the fridge to eat something)
(Cyborg is licking sauce off his finger while everyone stares in disbelief and disgust)
(After Cyborg points out "Mega Meaty Meat")
Beast Boy: Does the word "I'm a vegetarian" mean anything to you?
(After Beast Boy failed to make a monkey out of a balloon)
Little Girl: That's not a monkey. You stink!!
Cyborg: (After popping out of a cow suit) MOO-YA!!!
Beast Boy: Uh, Bob? We need some eat-may for the ustomer-cays!
Beast Boy: Okay, so you've all seen the T-Car, and the T-Ship, and we all know your R-Cycle and your new glider thingy are way cool. Now, I bring you the latest in Titans transportation. Ladies and gentleman, dudes and dudettes, I give you - the B-Ped!
Robin: Beast Boy, you don't need a moped, you can fly.
Beast Boy: Yeah, but my arms get tired.
Beast Boy: (After seeing all the raw meat hanging in the back room, disgusted) It's for the moped, it's for the moped, it's for the moped, it's for the moped...
Beast Boy: Gross...
Bob: No, Tommy, it's delicious. And you really shouldn't be in the back.
Bob: Say goodbye, Tammy.
Beast Boy: Dude, that's a girl name!
Beast Boy: All right, B-Ped, time to save the Earth.
Robin: Can this day get any weirder?
(Cut to Titans in tower with cows)
Raven: I think it just did.
Raven: Okay. I can't eat until that "thing" stops looking at me.
Giant Steak: (High-pitched voice) It's meat-tastic.
Cyborg: (With mouth full) This really is meat-tastic.
The Source: You will suffer for your impudence, green human!
Cyborg: Whatever you are, come out with your hands or tentacles up.
Raven: If the cow's not the pilot, who is?
Beast Boy: Hey, Bob, any chance you could help me out?
Bob: That's great, Billy. I'll be in the back.
Bob: Welcome to Mega Meaty Meat, Lenny.
Beast Boy: It's Jimmy, I mean Beast Boy.
Cyborg: At least there's some good news.
Beast Boy: You're finally gonna let me drive the T-Car?
Starfire: (To Beast Boy) You are aware the "she" you feel affection for is merely a land vehicle?
Beast Boy: Look no further, sir or madame.
Robin: Mega Meaty Meat? I've never heard of that before.
Raven: That reeeeally looks healthy.
Starfire: Tell me, Beast Boy, particularly what variety of meat do you serve?
Beast Boy: Bob says that's a trade secret.
Raven: Are you the only one who works here?
Beast Boy: Bob says that's a trade secret, too.
Cyborg: Let's see... (Very fast) Eight number 3's, five number 2's, two number 1's, and a diet soda.
Beast Boy: Actually, we don't have soda here - only meat.
Cyborg: Okay, then make it a cup of meat juice.
Bob: (To Beast Boy) Hiya, Tommy. Say, be a sport and hand over our supreme creator, would ya?
The Source: I have created enough Newfu for an army of the Bobs.
Angry Customer: I WANT MY MEATY MEAT!
Beast Boy: Um, I'll be in the back.
Raven: So, we're being invaded by cows?
Starfire: Use caution; the cow people of Garland Prime are most formidable.
Robin: I'm glad you found a way to make a little money, Beast Boy, but don't you think this place is a little... weird?
Beast Boy: Dude, they have fries made out of meat - YES, THIS PLACE IS WEIRD, AND I HATE IT! But I'm not leaving 'til I earn that moped.
Researcher: You will be testing our new GameStation Turbo Extreme.
Beast Boy: Ooh... it's so shiny!
Researcher: Yes, it is rather shiny.
The barn in the opening is very similar to Clark's loft in Smallville.
While explaining how he kidnapped The Source, you can see Beast Boy in a purple mask, similar to the one he wore when he was with the Doom Patrol.

YTV airdate: May 5, 2005.
Beast Boy's face while working as a clown looks like Chiro (super-hero mode) from Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, who is also voiced by Greg Cipes. The young girl that asks for Beast Boy to make a balloon-animal monkey, but Beast Boy pops it, and the girl walks away when he turns into a monkey is another reference to the show. Also, Ciro Nieli, who is the creator of Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!, has worked on Teen Titans.
Beast Boy's first customer has the general physique and wears a shirt which resembles that of Chuck Taine, the Legion of Super-Heroes member known as Bouncing Boy.
The house Beast Boy visits as a vacuum salesman looks very much like The Brady Bunch house. Even the inside looks very similar to it when Beast Boy walks in.
In the comics, Beast Boy was the ward of Steve "Mento" Dayton, a man reputed to be richer than Bruce Wayne, and thus had the resources to buy anything he wanted.
During the second fight with the UFOs, Robin, Cyborg, Starfire, and Raven pass through several different fight scenes from past episodes. Most notebly, the hill in front of the pizza place from "Final Exam." The bridge from "Fractured" and "Date With Destiny," Robin even rides his bike up it like he did in "Fractured." And the intersection they faught Terra in from "Aftershock (1)."

Beast Boy is seen bald for the second time, first being "How Long Is Forever?."
Robin has his freeze weapon like he did in "Winner Take All."

Beast Boy episode.
Before working at Mega Meaty Meat, Beast Boy worked at the following 'jobs': GameStation game tester, door-to-door vacuum cleaner salesman, and clown.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Vegetarian Meat
The fact that the meat in a fast food joint is actually vegetarian is similar to the plot in one episode of Buffy, where she gets a job in a fast food place.
The plot of this episode is similar to the episode "Wonder Fun Meat World" in the cartoon series Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!. Both episodes revolve around alien monsters which infiltrate their respective planets under the disguise of a meat-orientated fast food restaurant and which have bad plans for humanity.
Beast Boy: This is so cool!
The Source: Foolish human!
Clearly another FLCL reference, as heard in the scene where Beast Boy escapes from the restaurant, kidnapping the source, riding the moped.
The army of Bobs is vulnerable to water, just like the invading aliens from Signs.
Beast Boy: All right, B-Ped. Time to save the Earth!
Beast Boy's appearance and outfit on his moped bears a striking resemblance to the Vespa-riding Haruhara Haruko from the anime series FLCL. Even the little "T!" logo on his moped is similar to the "P!" logo on Haruko's moped.
The Source: It's called nufu and it's made from me.
This episode is similar to the movie Soylent Green. They are eating meat that and don't know what it's made from. And it turns out to be made from an evil alien and Soylent Green turns out to be made from human.
Robin: Flying Outfit
Robin's flying outfit at the beginning of the episode looks exactly like the uniforms worn by the superheroes in the original '70s anime, Kagaku Ninjatai Gatchaman.
Bobs: Terminator 2: Judgment Day
In Terminator 2: Judgment Day, during the Terminator's fight scene with the T-1000 in the steel mill, the T-1000 hits a wall face-first, and morphs to face away from it. After Beast Boy initially discovers the secret behind Mega Meaty Meat, he fights off the Bobs, sending one of them into the wall face-first. Right after that, Bob was able to morph so that he was facing away from the wall, and he does so in the same fashion as the T-1000.
Beast Boy: Appearance (Gollum/Smeagol)
After Beast Boy blew up the video game system, he lost his hair. He looked a lot like Gollum/Smeagol from Lord of the Rings.
Bobs: Fight Scene
The scene where Beast Boy faces off all the Bob clones is like a scene from The Matrix: Reloaded, where Neo fights off the Agent Smith clones.
The Source: Revealed
The part where The Source is first revealed is a reference to the movie Akira where a cryogenic container is broken and the large liquid nitrogen tubes feeding it break off and crash into the ground below.
