I hope so. Pearlman is to Slade like Mark Hamill is to the Joker. I just wonder who will voice the Titans. I can't imagine Cyborg by anyone other than Khary Peyton.

It would be cool if Loren Lester would reprise his role as Robin/Nightwing from Batman:TAS/Gotham Knights. For a long time, Lester was Dick Grayson as far as my ear was concerned. That's still the voice I hear in my head whenever I read a comic.

    Same. Preffered cast list?
    Hm...

    Robin/Nightwing - Loren Lester
    Starfire - Hynden Walch
    Donna Troy - Hayden Panettiere
    Changeling - Greg Cipes
Terra - Ashley Johnson or Jessica Di Cicco
Raven - Tara Strong or Grey DeLisle
    Cyborg - Khary Peyton
    Deathstroke - Ron Pearlman

Who else was a Titan during the Judas Contract? Was Jericho? Obviously he doesn't need a VA... What about Omen?

Well, I think Kid Flash was already gone at that point... and we'd also probably need a VA for Addie Kane. I see Virginia Madsen in that role.

If Tara Strong doesn't do Raven's voice, I ain't gonna watch the movie.

How about all the voice actors in this show come back and do their parts again in that Judas contract DVD. Maybe they can make their voices a little deeper....

That would be nice, but... I don't think Scott Menville really works as Nightwing. At least he didnt' IMO in 'How Long Is Forever'... I'd much prefer Loren Lester there.

That and the cast are commited to other projects...Strong as Ben on "Ben 10" and her family life & Cipes back to his music. IMO...idea! If Strong can't be Raven and they attempt a live-action variant of the film, have Christina Ricci take on the dark mystic's role.

There is no way they're making a live action Titans with the TT:TAS DVDs and 'the Judas Contract coming' out.

Tomorrow, I need to go get the Judas Contract TPB...

I don't care if the VA's from the show are voicing the characters, as long as they are good.

*nods* Good characters (i.e. those that are money-makers that appeal to the fanbase) make good ratings.

The downside, the TV network execs (and one comic writer, Dan Didio) are just like Thaddeus Plotz in A!...hard-headed, money-grubbing tightwads who care not of the viewers/readers or their co-workers, but of getting more money to do with as they wish...

IMO, they should listen to what Rob "Yakko" Paulsen has to say to Plotz being "Mr. Scrooge"-like in "A Christmas Plotz": http://www.ilovewavs.com/TV/Cartoons/Animaniacs%20-%20Relax.wav

You know, you don't have to force a gratuitous Animaniacs reference into EVERY post.

I know I don't. Lighten up a little. 'Tis just for fun and to promote yesterday's official release of the DVD, but now that the day has passed, it's time for a signature change...

The third title in the series will be an animated version of the classic story Teen Titans story “The Judas Contract”, written by Marv Wolfman. Tom DeStano (X-Men) will join Wolfman as co-writer and producer on the film.

"This is just the beginning," Levitz said. "We're sitting around and thinking of more...so send all your suggestions in."

"We're going to take the marquee-value characters that have love across the generations," Levitz said. "And use the stellar characters so that the parental generation will reach out and share it with their kids. We're looking at all the great stories, and cases where we can find the best stories of a long run."

Levitz also added that George Perez will be working on the animated Judas Contract as well, and that Bruce Timm will be overseeing all the animated films.

Article taken from Newsarama's DCU panel from San Diego Comic Con.!

Marv Wolfman is writing it and George Perez is doing the art! Marv is one of the greatest comic writers EVER, not to mention he wrote the whole NTT era with George Perez, who is like one of the greatest comic artists, doing the art.

I think I am in heaven...

Hm... This is interesting IMDB lists the show voice cast as the cast of Judas Contract. I'm almost certain this is a mistake considering the production isn't anywhere near finished yet.

Considering the only Titans listed are the main animated Titans, I'm not buying it either.
