Y'know, the more and more I read 'The Judas Contract', the more and more I hate season 2.

Probably 'cause S2 felt like a cop-out now with the REAL Judas Contract set to hit shelves.

Bah. I haven't read the Judas Contract, but season 2, copout or not, was still a very well done story, IMO. Not everything has to be exactly like the comics, you know...

True that, but tell that to comic purists...

If that's Lena's reason, I would say that they are different stories. Neither really has a bearing on the other. Terra of the series is a very different person than the psycopath from the Judas Contract.

Aside from the whole "misguided teen" and the "even the bad kid reforms" cop out that were both done due to the rating of the series and such, I see no difference, for both Terra were, in their own ways, messed up.

Hmm... this sounds interesting. It gives me a chance to see what happened in the comics. Considering how much I loved the Terra of the cartoon series, though, I got a gut feeling in my stomach about this. But... this was how she originally started, and I can't change it. Bah, betrayal stories had always been cliche' from the start. It just so happened that Terra played that role this time.

As you said, comic Terra was a physco.

Again, I say Series Terra's fatal flaw was a weak mind. She always ran from her troubles instead of facing them head on, and allowed herself to be shaped by Slade instead of fighting a man she knew was evil because she was so scared of losing control of her powers.

And most of us agree with that assessment.

    Wondering...

Since she ran away from her troubled past in Things Change, and Beast Boy was part of it, shouldn't she have acknowledged to BB it was her instead of denying it all the time?

No, because BB is part of that past she is trying to avoid.

Completely the wrong direction. Kid Flash gets shot in the knee in Teen Titans: Vol. 3 TPB "A Kid's Game" which came out in 2003.

The Judas Contract was an early eighties storyline from The New Teen Titans with a different Robin, Kid Flash and Wonder Girl than the modern incarnations.

Yeah, and the NTT era was the one the series was more loosely based from...

    That would be cool.

Anybody else expect this movie to not get aired by Cartoon Network? If it does it will have to be late night on Toonami or worse, Adult Swim.

Right, but Judas Contract has many of the same characters as the Teen Titans series; they might be wary of showing it since there are still fans of TAS that are 'too young' for such material.
