Ok first things first. Amazing episode. Not quite as exciting as "Raving" but definitely up there.

    1. Gerard is a soulless bastard. I understand that this is their way but goddamn having the man kill his wife? Bageezus. Sorry Mama Argent, but you were cold heartless bitch so this how you go out I guess.

    2. How will they explain this resurrection of Peter Hale? I hope they're not just going to have any real explanation, but i'm guessing the light of the full moon and the blood of the Beta that killed him does the trick. But where does Lydia come in? Does she have to be immune in order for this to work?

    3. What's Matt's story? I honestly wasn't expecting him to be controlling the Kanima, but I can't say i'm surprised either. Why is he obsessed with Allison? Is he trying to get close to her family because they're all murderers? He seems pretty young, I wonder why he's doing all this or how he even knew Jackson was the Kanima?

    4. Next week's episode is gonna be nuts, and I feel like battle lines are getting drawn and Scott/Allison will be in the crossfire.

I am not sure I like the idea of Peter being resurrected. Are we going to make him the main antagonist again? It is like Stilles said they have been getting their asses kicked all season, now they have to eal wth Peter again who no doubt try to force Derek's pack under his command, so he can kill. He is going to be stronger than ever now that technically he has Derek, Scott, Issac, Erica, and the big guy. Matt being the master was predictable. Not sure what to make of it. I am guessing the season will end with Peter vs Jackson winner take all bet. Good episode none the less. Chris killing his wife was emotional. Geard is way too cold. The guy has to kill his wife. That is not easy. For a guy who lost his daughter and became blood thristy over it I thought he would understand. Alison wants to kill Derek. Scott's allies have slimed down to basically just Stilles agains the Argents, Peter's pack, and Matt and Jackson. Sucks Derek isn't a Alpha anymore. I was looking forward to him going full Alpha form in the finale.

First just let me say how happy i am that i finally started watching this show a few weeks ago instead of just grazing by clips on much. I have caught myself up with the second season too. I will also say i LOVED this episode. My main thoughts:

    1. Gerard is just one cold hearted bastard. To have chris kill his wife like that and show no emotion..i want something bad to happen to him

    2. I thought it was a little bit disappointing that a lot of what we saw in the previews was just a hallucination caused by the wolfsbane in the punch. On the other side of that it was great to get some insight into the insecurities and worst fears of some of these characters.Also. the scene in which that girl got stiles to sober up by dunking his head in the pool was great

    3. I thought the scene where chris had to help kill his own wife was really well done. I might hate mother argent but it was clear just how much she loves her daughter and it made you feel just that little bit of sympathy for her realizing what she wanted to talk to alison about.

    4. matt being the kanima's controller is interesting. There is the question of why he is doing all this . Slightly disappointing in the sense that he was probably one of the most obvious choices though

    5. I feel like there is a relevance in stiles and his father discovering that the science teacher and the swim coach have a connection to all the murder victims so far and that isaac himself is going to have an important role to play here. They didnt just go through all that for scene filler

    6. I want to know what lydia is. Why is she immune to the werewolf bite? and whats going to happen to her now that peter is (presumably)done with her?

    7. I have a hard time believing that peter would just let derek live. While i dont want derek to die it doesnt seem like peter would be letting the oppertunity to kill derek get away.

8.I dont know how i feel about peter being though because now it really leaves 2 main enemies for scott to deal with again. Now this either is going to end up in in peter hale and the kanima all being related somehow or we have , like i said 2 villains completely seperate to deal with again.

    9. as for the preview for fury.well i dont think i'll like this episode simply because i have a feeling that matt shooting scott and possibly stiles is going to occur at the end and leave us with a cliffhanger, which i hate. I know they wouldnt ever be killed off but i still do not like cliffhangers because even though its obvious scott and stiles are in the 3rd season your still left wondering for an entire week how they recover from the problem. Alison wants derek dead which i would have seen coming from a mile away.It leaves scott now with basically only stiles as an ally.Did i see the kanima holding alison by her throat in the preview too?

what i think we might see happen is scott and chris working together in some way toward the end of this because matt does have a thing for alison and i feel like thats going to bring the argents and scott together...at least momentarily

I knew it was Matt from the very beginning, I even wrote a bit of my theory out on another thread, but it feels great to be right! Ha!

Jokes aside, it was slightly slow episode, very emotional, we really get to know the characters emotions for one another and their insecurities. I wonder what's going to happen with Derek now, is he an Omega now, or Beta? Would also love to see what happens with Scott's situation with his mum, seeing as he is shot, and his mum see's, he'll heal and inevitably be forced into telling her about himself, being a werewolf.

I really had this strong feeling that Mr. Argent was going to pull the knife away from his wife and try to reason with Gerard, but really surprised he actually went with it and helped her kill herself. Wow. I had a feeling that she would heal, being a "werewolf" and all, but really surprised. They did a great job with this.

    I couldn't agree more...

I have posted similar questions on the "Who is the Master" thread.

I am absolutely sure that I don't like the idea of Peter being resurrected. It just adds more confusion to the already many story arcs and plot lines. We have like six main Antagonists now. LOL. So are they all gonna take turns being the main Antagonist each episode? It's getting to be a little too crowded on that level:

    1) The Kanima
    2) The Master(s)
    3) The Argents and their henchmen
    4) Grandpa Argent
    5) Derek
    6) Peter Hale

Whose next? What's next? Oh I forgot...there is that thing "....that is coming." Which the vet and the guidance counselor referred to. I have no words for Grandpa Argent. Unreal....is all I can say. Also, had a spiderman moment when Allison nixed her opportunity to speak to her mom. I was saying to myself, "With great power comes great responsibility". Lol...Also, I thought the mother would try harder to speak to Allison. Was the first time she wasn't mean towards Allison or verbally agressive. The near Matt drowning scene makes me wonder. Is it that Matt can't swim or that he is afraid of the water after having an older sibling drown while on the 2006 swim team?

    Great show!

somehow i forgot that scott can heal himself, being a werewolf..awkward

but, yeah i agree that because of that he will have to tell his momand i look forward to seeing how that will go. However we also see in the next episode matt pointing a gun at stiles and to me it looked like the scene where he shoots scott is in the hospital so i wonder if he also shoots stiles.

Was a great episode, but when do so many new plot twist end. With so many twist more questions that never end. First off the Master I thought was deceased, but Matt seems much alive. Unless like someone said Matt has a brother or another family member deceased involved with the 2006 swim team. The next question is Derek a werewolf anymore? Is he a Beta? Is he an Omega? What is up with Grandpa Argent and the pills? What happens now that Peter Hale is resurrected? What is his purpose? Will he go after the Argents? He went after everyone from the fire, so will he be a protagonist? What is with the lady with black hair at the lacrosse game in the bleachers? Where are the Vet and Guidance Counselor? SOOO MANY QUESTIONS MAKES YOUR HEAD SPIN. Plus more with the sneak peak of next week's episode.

yes and why exactly lydia is immune to the werewolf bite. Is she just a human with some kind of ability to resist, are there people are are immune or is she something supernatural herself? and how did peter hale even know that she is when she didnt even know herself?

we are either going to get a very busy final 3 episodes or alot will carry in to the 3rd season ..which i guess is good its 24 episodes.

either way i dont see any way to answer every question left with so little time without making these episodes to busy.

I liked a lot the allucinations during the party. Stiles deepest scare... his mother died during his birth? He feels guilty of that tooo? that was new

And quite funny having the Kenima kissing Allison...

I loved Lidya. I think the actress did a great job and that she really had everyone playing as she wanted too.

And what about Issaagh's comment about his father? did I get it well? I understood his father didnt use the... cabine to torture him but just to threaten him???? I think this will be important....

And do you really think that the Greates Evil and Witch character ever (mamma hunter) is dead? why could not her recover? stabbing Scott would not kill him.... I really think she did heal and keep it secret... perhaps she is just locked... we didnt see the corpse....

I was laughing also when the Kanima was kissing Allison. And it is true. We didn't see the corpse. However, I hope she stays dead. Seems like too many dead bodies are getting back up and walking again in the show if you know what I mean. Lol.

Derek commented on Issca's father used to punish him by throwing him into an ice box and Issca saidhis father didn't used to do that, alluding that at one point in time they had a good relationship. Didn't Chris stab his wife in the heart or something? Chris loves his wife and I don't think he would go against her wishes by faking her death and trying to keep her alive. It sounds sick, but it was romantic in the sense that he put her wishes above his own. All this talk about there being two masters and one female makes wonder if Peter was the true/first master through Lydia. I hope not. I liked Peter, but do not want him to be the main antagonists for two seasons. It took everything they had just to beat Peter in the last season. I can't see how they can defeat both Peter and Jackson this time.

I think Isaac earned his place in the show by helping Derek when Erica and Boyd were trying to attack him. I really felt a bond had grew between them at that point.

But the thing I'm worried about, is how these final 3 episodes are going to play out. I really wish they give us a bit of the story behind the master(s), but not all of it, just to keep things fresh for Season 3. I don't see how Scott is going to keep everything under control with Jackson, and Peter. I think the Vet is going to be called into action, if there is anything he can do about it, we really don't know what he is capable of, and I hope it explores his character a bit more before the Season ends, and HOPEFULLY, just hopefully, we see a partnership between Scott and the Argents.

Everything is just so out of control!

I dont want that to happen either. Peter definately seems to know everything thats going on even now, he knew the need of lydia getting everyone out of the way at her party . Im not sure if he is the controller but i think it would be interesting if he';s not because would he really allow whoever this is to go around and continue their own plan without him?

I think what might be interesting power struggle between peter and the kanima if they are, in fact seperate. Its tv tradition that 2 big bad guys on the level of the kanima and peter really cant exist at the same time. So will peter sit back and let the kanima operate or could we actually see peter with the key do finally killing it and perhaps actually aiding scott? or if they do grapple one just might kill the other

Well, in my opinion past evil character is past. I dont think they are bringing back Peter as the new bad guy, I am considering this more as an oportunity.

Think of it. If I was the writer, I would try to mess with the pack. Derek being the Alpha and the new three ones just obeying... no pack fight?

I am wishing that Pete is used just in 2-3 chapters, before they killed it again, to change the pack organigrama . Perhaps, if Scott kills Pete again, he will become the Alpha, and surely he will try, as this was the way to cure him.

Thus, I want to think that bringing back Peter is not related to the evil side, but to the bite-curing plot line.

I think there are too many bad guys at this point and that needs to be addressed/reduced over the next three episodes. The Kanima, the master, and grandpa Argent was more than enough...We also have that thing that's coming according to the Vet and guidance counselor. I am getting the feeling that Peter has a connection to the swim class of 2006 and that he could be somehow mixed up with the Kanima.

I reckon Peter will go after the Kanima, just so there isn't as big a threat to stop him, being the Alpha of a pack with 6 werewolves in it. What really puzzles me.. Peter bit Scott turning him into a werewolf, is the opportunity still available for Scott to kill Peter and turn back human? Scott doesn't want Jackson dead either, so he'll have to protect Jackson from Peter (that is, if Peter is anywhere near as strong and powerful as Jackson/Kanima), but also protect himself from Jackson. The only logical way of doing this, I reckon, would be to get rid of the master, and making sure that he doesn't continue to seek a master.

Scott has pondered the idea of turning human, just so he can be back with Allison, and I wonder who will team up and take sides in the coming episodes. I'd love to see the Argents team up with Scott, and the Kanima(s) to stop Peter.

I agree completely. I think there are way to many villains at this point. I dont believe that that many can exist though without either:

    A- teaming up

    B- wiping each other out

the final episode of the season is master plan and i feel like peter will play a huge part in that which makes me think that peter is indeed behind everything. If you stop and think about it the master of the kanima isnt an evil genious, he/she or they arent a planner they are people who are seeking out revenge and the kanima is a means to that. Peter however is a planner, he is a true villains with a brain

i would be pretty surprised if that"master plan" didnt center on peter and just why he went through all the trouble of bring himself back with lydia.

hopefully by the end of the season he'll tell us why lydia is immune to werewolf bites.

P.S - am i the only one who sees that lydia seems to enjoy what she's doing every now and then? in the episode when peter revealed himself to her in the burned house she finds the flower and smiles at the end. In this episode when scott realises lydia has spiked the punch and it shows her walking away she is smiling, like she is enjoying this task. I know we have said that there are lot of things that need to be addressed and lydia is one of them.
