When I first learned that Hollywood was doing a Teen Wolf series I thought to myself oh no not a TV show and I watched it from season 1 to season 2. I got hooked. This was way better than the Movies form the 80's. What got me really hooked is find out Linden Ashby was going to play in it and also Ian Bohen who played the Younger version of Hercules on the TV show Hercules the legendary journeys. I have to say MTV did a good Job with this show. I don't watch much of that channel any more but on Monday Nights I am glued to the the one thing that I kind of don't like it's not scary enough. They need to make the Alpha look more like the werewolves in American werewolf in London and like they did in the movies underworld. I am sticking with the show. Oh yeah and to mention the rest of the cast is awesome. So If I have to pick a teen wolf team it would be Team Sheriff Stilinski cause I really like him.

All other supernatural shows today should take notes. Jeff Davis has created this cliche' world of werewolves but you know what? That's what it's suppose to be like. This show started off slow and interesting but really picked up half way through the first season, and REALLY got the ball rolling in the second. I'm not saying it's perfect but for a "TEEN" show, it's nearly perfect.



Truthfully, it reminds me a little of Buffy, only not as good, yet.

It's mainly centered towards as a werewolves versus human series. They have to be seen in order though. Not bad, though it sometimes get annoying when male characters emphasize that their "just trying to protect thing. There is non-stop action, and surprises as unexpected things happen. Well rehearsed fighting scenes, though a lot of bloodshed. It emphasizes high school life, so it's great for teens. Never a boring moment, worth watching.

I actually remember rolling my eyes when I heard of this reboot and therefore managed to miss the first season. One night being home and bored flicking the channels I left season 2 episode 2 on in the background and soon enough I was HOOKED.

I was pleasantly surprised buy the depth of the characters, the great storylines and most of all the eyecandy mainly Tyler Hoechlin, where have you been all my life??? Season 2 was a great season every episode left me wanting more.

For anyone who hasn't seen it and is considering watching it I strongly recommend it.. give it a chance you'll love it to :)

I do not like the primary love connection in this thing. The hunter and it's pray?? Please it's been done to death. I do, however like Lydia and Jackson and their broken interactions. Also Stiles is awesome!!!!! SOOOOO awesome. And Derek Hale has so much potential. Good and Bad. I would watch more of this.

When I watched the first season of TW, I thought it was barely better than The Secret Circle, except that TW's director did a very nice job of setting up tension, so I stuck with it for that.



But having just watched 2x7, Restraint, wow! At this time, I'm enjoying TW much better than True Blood (granted TB's been a yawn in recent eps). So if you enjoy supernatural shows, I'd highly recommend sticking with Teen Wolf, because it might start off kind of weak, but it really improves a lot by season two.

I watch it everytime a new episode is on and i watch the repeats. The last episode was so cool and sad at the same time because jackson is now not a threat so that's good and scott and allison that was sad but they will work it out they always do.

i watched about 15 TV series episode by episode but i never got so attached to a show like this, the characters are outstanding and the performance too. although the werewolves don't look so nice but there acting is great and has an excellent twisted plot.

The Good: Looks good. Sounds good. Keeps you hooked SOMEHOW.



I don't think I need to explain. Even though one could argue that the werewolf-look is a bit silly (massive sideburn-alarm!) the show never comes across as a cheap Buffy-esk monster show.

And while the show left me grinding my teeth in anger and frustration it still managed to keep me wanting more. There are some interesting characters, and I kept hoping that they would develop them.



The Bad: Clich ridden. Too much teenage-romance.



Yeah, so of course every single girl and boy in this school looks like a model. And a red dot on the chin and messed-up hair is supposed to make you instantly look unattractive/unpopular. Yeah, right. That's totally how I remember school.



How can you tell if someone is clearly evil? Well, in the universe we live in - you can't. In the world of TV-convenience you can always look out for black-ish clothes and evil smirks.

The writers/director must really think that the audience is stupid, when EVERY. LITTLE. THING. is shoved in your face like that. Subtlety seems to be a foreign word to those guys.

Almost every actor (the one playing Jackson) is so over the top that you sometimes get the feeling you're watching a cartoon.

The writers don't seem to know how realy people behave, leave alone TEENAGERS.



I can't believe noone else seems to notice this stuff:



* If you want to portray someone as a bit dense, okay. But bestiary - bestiality : Really?! So these teenagers know about that but can not guess from the context what a be(a)st-i-ary is? Come on!



* Do you seriously mean to tell me that NOONE recognizes his mother-language written backwards?! If a classmate of mine would have written "Please help me" on the board I would've been concerned. A lot. But i guess all other people except the protagonists must be blind, unsympathetic idiots for this show to work.



* Don't even get me started on the fact, that noone ever overhears the clearly audible discussions of our protagonists about lycantrophy etc.



* A minor thing: Why would Stiles' father call him Stiles when it's his last name? He does have a Surname, doesn't he?



* And no, it is NOT normal for a teenager to tell his parent he wishes he/she was dead. If you think so, you should see a psychiatrist.



* You can't use LITERALLY like that. I'm not a native speaker and even I know that. It's bad enough REAL people speak like that. But, hey TV-Guys. You might not realize this but you have a responsibility. Instead of enforcing stupidity why not set an example for once?



I don't hate this show. Despite its many flaws, I'd still say it's worth checking out. It's just one of those shows which totally wastes its potential, which makes me angry. Bad shows I can take. I shrug them off and never think of them again. Shows like this haunt me, because I wish I could just slap some sense into the writers or whoever is responsible for screwing up what could be a marvellous show.

So I heard so many good things about this show so I decided it watch it on Netflix. I couldn't even finish episode 2 it was so boring. Then about a couple months later I was really bored so I decided to watch it, and by like episode 4 It got pretty interesting. The show isn't all that great like people say it is in my opinion. There's a lot of things that don't make sense. You know when you're watching a movie or tv show and you're like "ok, so what was the point of that scene?" or "why did he do ___?" or "how did she just so happen to have a knife in her pocket?" that's how this show is, things don't really go/tie together, the writing needs a little work. But it's worth watching. Very good looking cast

best show on tv in my opinion. keeps you guessing, and so unpredictable. always a new twist or something happening. great show. too bad seasons are so far from each other.

this show is good as hell they just the right music and the right situtations down to a hault I love this show so much cause so many reasons who ever directs this show should be a billionaire Teen wolf just wow but I aint go lie the only reaseon I gave a 9.5 was because they corney ass fight scene on the ice rink

I've been hearing (reading) good things about Teen Wolf since it's debut last summer, but I've got a lot of supernatural/werewolf shows and adding another one (that airs on MTV no less) just seemed like more than it's worth...plus I didn't want to be disappointed.



I wasn't. The Pilot was great and instantly had me hooked. The lead actor is very impressive in the role, as are many of the cast members. The production values of the show are quite remarkable with what can't be a very big budget. The writing is pretty solid, no inconsistencies nor plot points that fathom the audience's belief of what could be "real" within the story. It's also clear what each character means to the other, while still having some room for growth within certain relationships.



Great work MTV. Another gem here, I'm glad it's been renewed for a 3rd Season of 24 episodes. That's actually a lot. Hopefully this show can grow and expand it's audience. I just watched the 1st Season in two days. Trying to finish Season two today before the Season Finale tomorrow night.



Basically..give the show a try if you're looking for something that's the same (werewolf) but different in terms of it actually being good and building it's own unique mythology about werewolf lore.

One would assume that since it's on MTV, it would be a complete failure, that's not the case for this show. if you have to thank one person, thank Price. I didn't watch the first season because I thought it would be ridiculous, but Price in a review said that it's far different than a MTV show. So I gave it a try and I loved it. I watched the first season in less than 2 weeks. Season 2 is amazing, it went dark. It's far better than any show I seen in a while. Highly recommend this show.

wow i love this show!!! i cant imagine anything without it now, it gives me goosebumps every time, but its sad that i have to wait till every week to watch it but it gives me good ideas of what is going to happen next. I love the make up and i love the fashion as it all goes so well together. Me and my sister/mate we always watch it together and after the episode we talk about how good it is!! Growing up in the early 80s I really enjoyed the original Teen Wolf (1985) movie, but we won't get into the 1987 sequel Teen Wolf Too.



I hadn't watched MTV in years, and being 33 years old I'm their target demographic, but their quality of programming is an E grade. So here comes this new show Teen Wolf (2011), so I figured since I was a fan of the original film, why not check it out?



Wow, I was surprised MTV could actually create a non-reality TV show that was great. They hit the ball out of the park with this one, something I don't think they've done since the mid 1990s, in terms of programming that I like. I can honestly see this show going on for several more seasons. Season(s) 1 and 2 have been great. 8/10 Rating.

It's really an entertaing show and I know you would enjoy it. of course you'd have to watch the whole first season before you watch any of the new ones otherwise it won't make much sense. It's funny and edgy and there's action, romance and twists and it's an all around good show.

I remeber last season I was alittle skeptical about it and I was very impress with it. This season look even better then the last season.I've watch the first couple of episode of seaso n 2 and i love it. I like how it about a kid Scott who handle school and controling his iner beast and have to try not to die from Allison crazy dad and his hunter clan.Oh and I like how Allison bad ass and amzaing with the bowarrow.Derak a bad ass to being the Omega.The other character are good to and cool. Who's the lzzard thing.

The concept of remaking Teen Wolf didn't set my world on fire and I was pretty lukewarm to the first few episodes...but something about this show keeps surprising me. Season 2 has just started and I'm continually impressed, this show is much better than it should be. I know it's a remake, I know it's MTV, I know it looks like The OC with wolves, but somehow it adds up to a lot more than that. Each season feels nicely planned out and they've managed to introduce a few nice twists to the werewolf mythos (which always felt a bit subpar to me compared to vampires). Worth a shot!

I first heard of this show before it came out. But I never watched the season because I saw one promo and it did not look good. So I waited until the end of the season so I can watch this show online. When I saw the first 15 minutes of the frist episode I fell in love with the show and the actors. This show has it all. Horror, Action, Comedy, Romance. I could keep going but I wont. The show deals with teens and their struggle of high witch it makes it seem really real. And I love that the main character is not looking to be all that. He is just a young 16 year old who ends up being bitten by a warewolf and not only he has to deal with that but also his relationships with the people around him. And I also like the fact that Scott is very respectful towards alsion. Even though he is an animal he still finds it in him to be the gentilmen that he is. I will keep watching the show.

once scott is bitten he discoveries his becoming a werewolf but scott bestfriend stiles(dylan o'brien) help scott through his changes.scott also has help from derek(tyler hoechlin)who was born a werewolf.

tyler p.,tyler h.,and dyan have great chemistry since most of the scenes are with all of them.(the whole cast has great chemistry with another also)

scott starts to fall for this girl name allison(crystal reed)who scott soon discoveries her family is werewolf hunters.which causing problems for him and allison.

scott also as run into jackson(colton hayes) who cant stand scott.jackson is also dating the stuck up rich girl lydia(holland roden).

the show is very good.

the acting is alot better than what i thought it was gone be.but there are some problems.

as a main character scott is very annoying sometimes.the writers need to make scott more likeable.

i love the action scenes but sometimes they are very sloppy b/c u cant tell whats happening.

i love the writing and how the show keeps the horror feel to the show but i feel like this show needs some filler eps really bad simply b/c there so much info in 1 ep by the next ep u dont even remember half of the stuff and by the end of the season u need to go back through the show just to remember simply things.

so even though i think scott needs to be more likeable,the show needs more filler eps,and i also think the fights can be done alot better.

there are things i like about the show.

i love the writing and how they have this dark tone with alot of horror.i love it..

i like the characters and how they change as the show goes on.

i like all the fact all the cast have chemistry.

i like that theres a show about werwolves b/c i think werewolves kick butt:)

so the show would have had a higher rating if scott was more likable,the fights were done better and there wasnt so much info in 1 ep.

but i like how the story goes along and evolve,the acting great,and i love the horror in the writing.

the show is great but there are room for the show to be better.

This show really has potential... for an MTV show I mean.Unfortunatelywe have seen shows like this before, you will never really be surprised. Watch it only if you want something not original.

I am not saying that sometimes "not original" is not good and I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy watching this show either. But according to me a little more surprise can be good.

What's more the fights and special effects are to be improved. Thestory linealso has to become better. I would say that for the moment MTV has a nice conventional show.

My final word will be that they're under something here, they just have to spice it up.

I found myself watching several new series now that several major series are on hiatus, and came across this likable homage to the Teen Wolf movie from the mid-80's. Nothing fancy there, since I grew up on the likes of Buffy-Angel-Blade-Underworld, and nowadays Vampire Diaries' grim and dark portrayals of the myth.

Though, this series seems lighter in tone than TVD, and I found that the supporting cast here does more than the main character of Scott, who seems to be more baffled and misplaced at the unfolding events than the rest.

Wow! DirecTv is really good making Teen Wolf & The Nine Lives of Chloe King similar to each other. Well, i like them both same amount on even level. I like the way Teen Wolf & Chloe King brings us with great fun action & mystery and drama entertainment ever seen. And Teen Wolf is most definitely the great tv series, involving around werewolves action theme and based off Teen Wolf film about teenage werewolf high school student.
