Episode Summary

Shredder experiments with the Inter-Dimensional Portal, hoping to contact Krangs' Rock Soldiers and prepare an invasion of Earth, but a group of fun-loving aliens called the Neutrionos, renegades in Krang's dimension, take advantage of the Portal's opening and use it to arrive on Earth, and they eventually run into the Turtles.

The Turtles and the Neutrinos meet up, after a misunderstanding. They tell the Turtles of Krang and the Rock Warriors, just when Tragg and Granitor themselves crash the party. The Turtles and the Neutrinos retreat to the lair, and Tragg uses a WeatherMaker to lure them out.

The Turtles and the Neutrinos go to the Technodrome and get the Rock Warriors into the Technodrome, but fail in capturing Shredder.moreless

  • Very good episode. Don't you love them classic episodes?

Maybe one of the only episodes that directly picks up where the last one left off (before the CBS empire). Anyhow, we see the premiere of the Turtle Van, which would be in the next 180 episodes. The Neutrinos, General Tragg, and Krang's history as the ruler of Dimension X are learned here. The info in this episode is vital to much of Season 2, and is a foreshadow to the Dimension X storyline in Season 4 and early Season 5. Even though the episode didn't get a perfect ten, it is a very important episode to the show. Woot!moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (5)

    • Response to the goof about the Mousers: Shredder made all of them except the original, but they all had the same imprint on the bottom of their feet, hence the line "An exact reproduction. Perfect down to the last detail." Besides, the authorities wouldn't know that he made them, since his name was nowhere to be found.

    • At one point, Mikey is told that Baxter was arrested for 'trying to take over the city with his mouser robots'-- He didn't. Shredder tried to kill Splinter with them.

    • Shredder turns the rest of Bebop and Rocksteady's gang into mutants, but he never used them to fight the Turtles

    • When Leonardo has his swords drawn in the Clown restaurant, he has two scabbards on his belt.

    • When Granitor says "All right, let's get those kids!", he's talking in Tragg's voice.

  • QUOTES (9)

    • (Bebop and Rocksteady are facing against Stone Warriors, and fire at them.)
      Shredder: Stop, stop, stop!!
Rocksteady: Oh, we were just startin' to have fun...
Shredder: Shut up! (to the warriors) You are Krang's Stone Warriors, are you or not?
      Tragg: Yeah, so?
Shredder: Then it's something I must show you.
Tragg: We better catch those kids.
      (Tragg and Granitor leave.)

    • Tragg: This weather sattelite will take care of them.
Granitor: But, we don't need to know what the weather is.
Tragg: This doesn't report weather, you idiot! It makes weather! It's Krang's old design. (Turns knob, and says as he goes along) Fair with high clouds... mild showers... aha! Total Chaos! Within two hours, the weather it makes will stamp this city flat. (Tragg releases WeatherMaker, and it pulsates in the sky.) To the Technodrome!

    • Krang: (to Shredder) You addlebrained idiot! You can't even beat a bunch of miserable turtles! I refuse to give you one more iota of my technology until you finish building my new body!
Shredder: Your body is one of many biomechanical experiments I am currently conducting in the Technodrone right now, Krang. (Presses button, and on monitor, picture with mutants in cells appears) See, Krang? I'm still experimenting with my mutations on the punks. This next batch will be infinitely superior to these two losers. (Points to Bebop and Rocksteady)
      Bebop: Hey! Whaddya mean?!
Rocksteady: You just give us one more shot, pal. And you'll see some squished toidles.
Krang: Why are you wasting your time making more mutants? My legions are amass in Dimension X waiting to conquer this planet!
Shredder: Dimension X! Of course! Your home planet, it is a place of total war, is it not?
Krang: Yes! A war that continued after I was banished here.
Shredder: Then I will obtain the weaponry I need... by pulling it out of Dimension X! (Goes to open portal)
Krang: (Chases after him) Saki, you can't!! There's no telling what will come through that portal!!

    • (The Turtles are trying to push Baxter's van up the stairs.)
Michelangelo: Couldn't we have taken the elevator?
Donatello: It wouldn't fit in the elevator!
      Raphael: Shut up and push!!

    • Raphael: (Referring to the tornado from the Weathermaker) That thing'll blow this whole city straight to Oz, if we don't stop it!

    • (After modifying the van on the top floor, now they have to drive down)
      April: Down the stairs?!
Donatello: Relax, April. We've got gravity on our side.
April: That's just what scares me.

    • (After seeing the alien cars for the first time)
Raphael: Am I seeing things, or did we just get buzzed by a couple of rocker-powered low-riders?

    • Krang: Excellent work, Traag! I'm going to pin a medal on you as soon as I get a pair of hands!

    • April: You got 'em! Who are they? Let's interrogate them.
      Michaelangelo: Relax, April, they're cool.
Dask: Cool? Daddio, we are frozen!
April: Why is it I never understand what's going on here?
