Krang wants competent help to carry out his plans. Shredder is too busy getting revenge on the Turtles, and Bebop and Rocksteady "couldn't steal a free sample," so Krang clones himself six times. He orders the clones, who are very reluctant to follow Krang, to steal industrial equipment all over the city. The Krangazoids grow new bodies, and make a volcano under the city.

Shredder, meanwhile, put a teleporting device and trapped Leonardo and April. The other three Turtles save them first, and Donatello uses Shredder's own weapon against him to teleport the Krangazoids to the Technodrome, where Krang tricks them into the Dimensional Limbo.moreless

- Given that the Krangezoids are clones of Kang, it is likely that the giant reptilian beast they evolve into are Krang's original form. This is definately close to the established canon than the flashback in "The Four Musketurtles", where Krang's species were wrongly depicted as brain-creatures.

  Krang: A wise decision.

- Raphael: Hey, guys, remind me to make a memo to get rid of that cloning device the if we ever need to break into the Technodrome again.
  Leonardo: Right. We can't afford for Krang to clone himself again.
  Donatello: Imagine what would happen if he made six Shredders.
  Michelangelo: Or six Rocksteadies.
  Raphael: Or worse yet... six Vernons!
  Donatello: Oh, come on, Raphael, that wouldn't be so bad.
  (As they pass an electronics store, six TVs switch to Channel 6, where Vernon gives a report.)
  Vernon: (On all six TVs) Sources say the volcano was put out by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But frankly, this reporter doesn't believe it!
  Donatello: On second thought, that would be pretty horrifying.

  Raphael: Tell me you saw that.

  April: (Points her minicam past Leonardo at the Krangazoid) Let me have a shot.

  Raphael: (to Michaelangelo) Does that answer your question?
