Episode Summary

EDIT
While the Turtles and April O'Neil scour the city for the Second Fragment of the Eye of Zarnov, Shredder sheepishly reports to Krang that he has lost the First Fragment and needs Krang's help. Krang agrees and, with his hi-tech equipment, locates the Fragment just outside the city near where a traveling carnival show has pitched their tents.

Meanwhile, the Crystal Converger has led the Turtles and April to the same carnival. But before they can locate the Fragment, it is found by two small boys. While April unsuccessfully tries to get them to part with it for three dollars, the Turtles are mistaken for performers and find themselves entertaining an appreciative audience.

When April finds the Turtles they're in an effort to raise more money to purchase the Fragment, but by then Shredder stumbles upon the boys and simply steals it.moreless

  • Very good episode. The precursor to comedy in the show.

This is the only episode of the Eye of Zarnov legacy to give one of the fragments two episodes. Baxter, the idiot he is, misplaces the fragment. Then Krang has to help Shredder, and tells him to look at a carnival for it. Okay. So Shredder and Baxter go, and so do the Turtles, because Donatello figured where it was at. Then Baxter gets the fragment, but it had some green mutant spore on it from when Shredder went to Dimension X. He sets it loose in the sewers, and the Turtles have to beat it.moreless
  • This episode is fantastic.

I like this episode a lot. I like the idea of the Carnival some of the episode takes place in. I really enjoy the fact that the Eye of Zarnoth saga is continued when the second piece needs to be located in this episode, I feel this is an excellent idea, and I can't get enough of the continuing episodes idea. The Eye of Zarnoth saga is such a great installment to this series.moreless
