  • Notes

    • This is the first time the Technodrome changes location early in a season. Before, it had usually happen during the season finale.

    • First appearance of Shredder's brother Kazuo Saki.

    • Episode featured on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Season 5 DVD release.

    • Splinter mentions Shredder using a hologram to kidnap the president, which occured in Cowabunga Shredhead.

    • This episode served as the season opener when it aired in the UK

    • In the Mirage comics, the name of Oroku Saki's (AKA Shredder's) brother (Who died at the hands of Hamato Yoshi) was Oroku Nagi. Here the name of Shredder's brother is Kazuo Saki: Meaning Oroku is The Shredder's first name, not his second. Also, in the original Mirage comics Oroku Saki was the youngest brother in the family, here it's the other way around.

    • From this point (excluding the European Vacation eps) Michaelangelo no longer has his nunchucks on his belt, and his grappling hook would be his main weapon

    • In this episode The Technodrome changes location from Dimension X to the ice-laiden wastelands of the Arctic. It would remain there until Rock around the Block.
