The turtles break into the Technodrome; only to be captured by Shredder and sent into Dimension X. they've been set up again. After seven years of the turtles, I sat down on Saturday and put it on CBS to watch a full hour of Ninja Turtles. The first episode was Combat Land, which was good, but no Shredder. But the second episode... it was the best! I was thinking as the Turtles broke into the Technodrome and were searching for the Regenerative Power Cell, the Heroes in a Halfshell would foil ol' Tin Grin again. But I saw nay! The turtles are hurtled into Dimension X as Shredder and Krang take over the city. But they overcome all the trials Dimension X had and they came back, stronger. Shredder was trapped, Krang's body had a few malfunctions, and the Technodrome was sucked into Dimension X!moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (9)

    • When the turtles are seen on the computer screen insulting Shredder, Donatello is seen wearing a blue bandana like Leonardo.

    • When Krang contacts General Tragg in Dimension X, Tragg was seen standing next to Krang in the Technodrome. Then Tragg comes out from the dimensional portal with the rock warriors outside the Technodrome.

    • This episode contains the last usage of the Amphibious/Transport Modules.

    • With the exception of background music from this season exclusively, no background music from Seasons One through Three (1987-1990) or Four through Six (1990-1992) would be used after this episode.

    • Irma shot Krang in the back, damaging the circuitry. Later, Krang's back looks unharmed and intact.

    • Response to Amphibious Module Goof: If you look closely, the fan on the back is spinning. That's why it appears to be a Transport Module.

    • This episode included on a TNNT VHS and titled Shredder Triumphant!.

    • When April, Irma and Vernon are forced to move towards the window of Channel 6, Rocksteady is seen instead of Vernon in one scene.

    • When Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady get away in the Amphibious Module, it looks like the traditional Transport Module.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • (Shredder, Krang, Bebop, and Rocksteady are forced to escape on a pickup truck.)
Shredder: No Technodrome, no Rock Warriors, no Foot Soldiers! I'll pay those turtles back for this if it's the last thing I ever do!
Krang: At this rate, it probably will be the last thing you ever do!

    • (When Weazel's ship lands, the slave master, Vorx, examines the Turtles.)
Vorx: Well, well, Weazel, what have you brought me this time?
      (Vorx knocks on Michelangelo back.)
      Vorx: Hmm. Strong. Fit. Durable.
Raphael: Get your mitts off him, you slime bag!
Vorx: (Cracks whip at Raphael) Look here, Mr. Creature. Here, you do not talk back. You do not even speak! You either work...or be destroyed.

    • (The Turtles arrive at the beach, and a tidal wave appears.)
Raphael: What is it? Is it a tidal wave?
(The Technodrome appears and rolls toward urban Manhattan.)
      Donatello: No, it's the Technodrome!
Michelangelo: That thing will roll over the city if we don't stop it!!!
Raphael: Relax, guys, we should know the drill by now.
Everyone: (In unison) We break into the Technodrome. Fight our way past the Foot Soldiers. Disconnect the power device and escape with it.

    • Splinter: I fear that by taking on Shredder, you four have stumbled into the greatest danger you have ever faced.
Raphael: But, Sensei, were not in any danger.
Splinter: The danger is not now. It is yet to come, Raphael.
Raphael: (Sarcastically) Gee. I feel better already.
Michelangelo: (Turns on TV) Let's see if we made the news, dudes.
News Reporter: Our top story -- the Regenerative Power Cell, the world's most compact source of energy. It was to be used for a new space shuttle at the Space Center, just outside of town. It was stolen by an alien-brain and a group of skilled ninjas dressed in blue.
Leonardo: That sounds like Krang and the Foot Soldiers!
Raphael: I hate to say it, but I think we just fell for the old Double Jeopardy trick.
Donatello: You're right. Why else would Shredder pull that robbery on live TV?
Michaelangelo: To keep us busy while the Krangster was stealing that power thingy!
Raphael: But what do they want it for?
      (Early Warning Alarm System blares)
Donatello: It's coming from offshore. It's like a giant tidal wave.

    • Raphael: I gotta tell you, this whole thing is starting to get old hat.
(A group of restraints falls on the Turtles)
Shredder: Except one thing -- this time, we were ready.
      Rocksteady: Stinking shellbacks!
Michaelangelo: (As they are taken to the Transdimensional portal) Dudes, we are in deep trouble.
      (Bebop nods)
Krang: (On a visual communicator) Shredder, we've done it! The city is ours!
Shredder: And now for the crowning touch. I'll finally be rid of you Turtles forever...by sending you into Dimension X!!!
(Bebop and Rocksteady throw the Turtles into Dimension X)
Shredder: At last, the Turtles are gone... FOREVER!
