  • TRIVIA (5)

  • QUOTES (16)

    • Splinter: Then perhaps you are ready to answer some questions.
      April: You're... you're a rat. (faints)
Donatello: You sure have a way with the ladies, Master Splinter. Now, what do we do?
      Leonardo: Let's nudge her.
Raphael: I'll snap her out of it.
      Splinter: Raphael, no!
Michelangelo: Somebody get me when she wakes up.

    • Raph: What now?
April: Get me into the control room and I'll create blind spots into the security cameras allowing you guys to sneak around unnoticed.
Raph: (points to Mikey) Don't look now but we already got a blind spot right here.
      Mikey: Hey.

    • Raphael: First rule: Ignore Mikey. Your life would be easier.

    • Michelangelo: (to Leonardo) I just love those action movie lines. You write them yourself?

    • Raphael: Hey. Hey, Earth to Mikey.
      Michelangelo: Ow! What?!
Raphael: She woke up. Leo made her some tea and she's ready to consider we might be real.
      Michelangelo: Awesomely radical, dude!
Raphael: You keep talking like that, she's gonna pass out again.
      Michelangelo: Hey!

    • Leo: Your reign of terror is over, Stockman!
      Mikey: You've been practicing that?
      Leo: You like it?

    • Raph: This is it. It's been fun, guys.
      Mikey: Even me, Raph?
Raph: Even you, Mikey. Especially you.

    • Stockman: (runs from the explosion) I got them! I got them all (bumps onto Hun) You. What do you want, Hun?
      Hun: Trouble, Dr. Stockman?
Stockman: Trouble? No, no. Everything is preceeding exactly as I planned. (Explosion shakes the ground and Hun grabs Stockman.)
Hun: Perhaps you like to explain this plan to the master.
Stockman: (struggling) Let me go, you brainless muscle bound idiot! Let me go! Let me go!

    • Baxter Stockman: So, as any fool can see, the whole thing is simply a minor setback. With your continued funding, the research can continue immediately. I'll be at work, oh, Monday morning.
Oroku Saki: You must pay the price for failure, Dr. Stockman. (Hun grabs Stockman)
Baxter Stockman: (struggling) No! Where you taking me?! You'll regret this! No!

    • Raphael: (after Stockman calls the Mousers and grabs him) That's enough!
Stockman: Ha! Too late! I recall the Mouser horde from their latest mission. They'll be here any second. They'll tear you to pieces.

    • Baxter Stockman: (to the turtles) Intruders? Here to steal my secrets? You will leave here nothing not even your lives. (confused) What on earth are you? I suppose I'll have to dissect you to find out. (releases laser cannons)

    • Stockman: What?! (turns on the communicator)
      Saki: Dr. Stockman.
Stockman: Make it quick. I'm very busy.
Saki: I am contacting to verify that you are fulfilling your end of our bargain and that you are on schedule.
Stockman: I will not stand for anymore of this idiotic interrogation! I've advanced the Mousers to the next stage, and they are securing the funds from the bank as you requested. Can you grasp that simple concept?
Saki: Do not presume too much, Dr. Stockman. The price for failure would be quite extreme.
      (Stockman turns off the communicator.)
      Stockman: Imbecile!

    • Michelangelo: A very wise frog once said, "It's not easy being green," but believe me, he didn't know the half of it. In the past 48 hours, my brothers and I have been attacked by killer robots, had our home caved in on us, and had a serious butt-kicking ninja battle with some deadly ninja assassins. We made a shell-raising escape in an armored car, found a new place to live and were attacked by even more killer robots. Oh, and we also managed to perform our very first ninja rescue. This is the closest any of us have ever been to a human being, and it raises one very big question: Can we keep her?

    • Michaelangelo: (Finding April) Can we keep her?

    • Leo: Is this another lesson, Master Splinter? How to sense the truth?
Splinter: No, this is called trusting your gut.

    • Splinter: I believe we find ourselves at your mercy.
April: Oh, I wouldn't tell anyone! I mean, who would believe me?
      Don: She's got a point.
      Mikey: (posing) Yeah! We're unbelievable!
Raph: Geez, where's your off switch!

  • NOTES (2)

    • This episode was adapted as issue 3 of the short-lived Dreamwave TMNT comic series. During the laser fight scene the comic writers added the lines "Does he expect us to talk?" "No, Mr Bond, he expects us to die", hence giving reference to the 1964 film Goldfinger.

    • The line "Can we keep her?" was originally from the first live-action Ninja Turtles movie.

    • Daredevil

The origin story for the ninja turtles where a kid saves a blind man from being run over by a truck with radioactive material, only for some of the waste to fall out and onto somebody which alters them is similar to the origin story of the Marvel superhero Daredevil, who was rendered permanently blind, but had his other four senses of touch, taste, smell, and hearing enhanced to superhuman levels by the waste and he was also trained as a ninja.

    • from Rurouni Kenshin: "Learning from Watching" from the Analysis above
Kenshin Himura of Nabuhiro Watsuki's Rurouni Kenshin anime and manga series (known as Samurai X in the Western part of the globe) learned most of his major attacks just by watching his master actually do it to him (that's why he is almost always battered whenever he attends lessons). As proof, Master Hiko Seijuro gave the Amakakeryu no Hirameki blow from the Hiten-Mitsurugi Ryu technique to Kenshin without the "attack's blueprint" first.
It is possible to learn something without hearing the procedures 1-10 explanation.
