  • Exodus is the first part of the turtles final battle with the Shredder.

    9.6
Exodus part 1, although slightly worse than it's second part, is one of the best episodes this show has to offer. It begins with Splinter having a vision of his master, Master Yoshi, showing him that the time has come for the final battle with the Shredder. Cleverly made vague and brilliant, this scene proves as a good beggining to the episode.

As it furthers, the turtles and Splinter gather Casey, April, Fugitoid, and Leatherhead to break in to Oroku Sakai's going away party, aiming to prevent him from having his revenge on the Utroms. Soon Agwent Bishop and Stockman get involved, trying to take his spaceship to study it.

The result is great action scenes, dialogue, and plot. This episode is truly a good beggining for the turtl;es final battle with the Oroku Sakai-Shredder.moreless
  • Second best episode!

    9.4
This has tobe the second best episode ever of turtles just slightly after "Enter The Dragons Part 2". I especially liked the part when they were all packed in Shredder's loading dock, because I like the idea of everyone fighting each other. I think that Leatherhead should have had a bigger part. What did Hun say, some people say it was "krang" I hope it wasen't because I don't like things going into the 2003 series from the 80's series. April and Casey also should have had a bigger part especially in Part 2, but I've forgotton if they were actually in the episode.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (5)

    • Splinter: Wakarimasu. I understand.

Wakarimsu means "I understand" in Japanese. Splinter uses the Japanese word, and follows it with its direct translation. This is common for uses of foreign words when subtitles aren't used.

    • This is the only time the Turtles fight the Shredder while he's not in his armor.

    • Hun screamed "Krang!" as he fell into the pit below the space shuttle. This was a cleverly plotted callback to Krang of the original series: a alien brain warlord of Dimension X.

    • When Shredder tells Hun to handle the turtles, his hands are gray. Later when he escapes down the escalator and is talking to Chaplin, his hands are colored like his skin.

    • When Mikey and Raph are hanging form the ceiling spying on the Foot Ninjas, you can see one of Agent Bishop's soilders walking around with the ninjas.

  • QUOTES (10)

    • Leo: Shredder has a star ship?
Splinter: He has finally found a way to leave this planet.
Leo: And that's not a good thing?

    • Dr. Chaplin: Mr. Saki, it's that Bishop guy. He and his men blew up the transport tunnel. There's no way we're moving the starship to the river.
Shredder: Bishop, here?! That changes everything!

    • Bishop: Well, this is interesting. Very interesting, indeed. Check with our man on the inside. I get the distinct feeling there's something he's not telling us.
      Soldier: Yes, sir.

    • Bishop: This is completely unacceptable. Why didn't you tell us Oroku Saki has a starship?
      Stockman: You didn't ask.
Bishop: Sarcasm is no way to build a working relationship with me, Stockman.
Stockman: Relax, Agent Bishop. We have a deal. I'll keep my end of the bargain as long as you keep yours. Huh? (sees Dr. Chaplin entering) Must go. Bye now!

    • Agent Bishop: This starship. It's, it's unbelievable. How could Saki have...?
Captain: Sir! Tunneled wired for demolition, sir!
Agent Bishop: Then, blow it! I'm not letting this ship slip through my fingers.

    • Soldier: Sir, it looks like Saki is trying an emergency launch.
Agent Bishop: What? How could...? Bring in strike force, bravo! Shut this whole place down!

    • Agent Bishop: (to his soldiers) I don't know what Saki is up to and I don't care. Rip this tunnel for demolition. I don't want to allow Saki any chance to move his ship.

    • Raphael: Planning a little trip?
Michelangelo: A little outer space mayhem, perhaps?
Leonardo: Not if we have anything to say about it!
Splinter: Your evil ends here and now, Shredder!

    • Bishop: Well, well, well. Isn't this cozy? (to his paratroopers) On my mark, destroy them all!

    • Mikey: Hi there, nice party. (kicks guard and knocks him out)
(Raph pulls the guard under the food cart)
Mikey: Oh yeah, like it wasn't crowded enough under here already.
      Raph: (slaps Mikey) Quiet!
