After so many years of airing 4Kids' shows including this series for 6 whole seasons, Fox is officially going to end 4Kids TV on Saturday morning and 4Kids Entertainment is going to focus exclusivly on the CW station. Though my opinion towards 4Kids has been towards dislike instead of hatred because of their extreme censorship of anime, but out of respect for the this series and the other shows I liked regardless I am posting this topic as a salute out of respect. ANN and Wikipedia's 4Kids TV page (with a source) can prove this.

In the past it aired every episode up to the end of the Fast Foward era. Now it airs Fast Foward reruns, which means the reruns will be over after the end of 2008. To make this more noticable I upgraded the title of this topic to make it easier for people to understand.

It would also mean that Saturday Morning kids shows will be gone completely from Fox since before 4Kids Entertainment took over there was Fox Kids.

What are peoples' thoughts on what The CW4Kids will do with their schedule. Do you think they'll keep the hour long TMNT? I honestly don't think they should (or bring TMNT: FF to the lineup) because they've had successful runs and there are only 10 slots for all of their shows.

Apparently they dropped the second season of Spectacular Spider-Man, thiS isn't exactly encouraging news for the future of TMNT

Well they are running out of good storylines for this series so I am not that concerned. But I am disappointed with them axing Spider-Man's second season. 4Kids is certainly similar to Fox where they axe any show that does not live up to the ratings regardless of the fan base. I mean Fox had cancelled some of their prime time shows in this fashion.

They cancelled the second season of the Spider-Man. Why that is great series? This sucks that was one of the shows I was looking forward to the most this spring.

    It's the 90's all over again :-(

First they canceled Spiderman TAS (Not giving us a REAL ending)
Then they canceled X-men TAS (Season 5 had different "cheaper" animation, so that could have been a cause)
They canceled Spiderman Unlimited (Yes, the series sucked, but at least give it a REAL ending, not a cliffhanger).

It's like bloody deja-vu all over again.

    R.I.P
Fantastic Four 2007/2008 (barely 1 season)
    Spectacular Spiderman

I'm realy gonna be pissed if they cancel Wolverine & The X-Men next >_>

At least there is still a chance of another network taking over the Spectacular Spiderman, because some episodes must have been animated since it was supposed to start airing in january/february 2009

No fear Wolverine & The X-Men is coming on Nick Toons so they probably won't cancel it until it gets 3 seasons at least. Marvel shows have the worst luck they barley get over 26 episodes. What Marvel needs is a new animated universe, like the 90s.

Yeah, that and some better storywriters for some shows.....

    Incredible Hulk (80's) - 1 Season
    Incredible Hulk (90's) - 2 Seasons

    The Hulk needs some love

There is also the fact in the eyes of these bigwig companies Ratings are more important than fanbases and previous reconition and a fan's opinion is never taken seriously. These tough times to live in and personally if there wasn't a financial crisis then these companies shouldn't be as cold-hearted.

4kidstv isn't airing it on cw and fox.
Both FOX and CW buy rights from 4KIDSTV to air the series on their channel too.

4KIDS sponsors TMNT2k3 (together with PLAYMATES) and other cartoons. If 4KIDS goes, then there won't be episodes for FOX and CW.
Unless FOX and/or CW makes a contract with Mirage and PLAYMATES.....

In other words: 4KIDS "buys" the series/seasons and other channels buy the rights from 4kids to air them too.

Well that hasen't been proven, since there is also the chance that Disney bought the license.

True there isn't a word on if they will continue the series after the episodes already produced but I would Imagine if it does good Disney will order more episodes.
