  • Not the best, but defenitly not the worst!

As I just said, this isn\'t my favourite episode ever, but it\'s not the worst episode. If you\'re a Raph fan, you probably love this one. Personally, I\'m not, although it was still enjoyable.

Raph goes out on his own while Splinter is still missing and ends up saving a boy named Tyler. The red masked turtle tries to get Tyler to go to the police station, but each time he does, Tyler just runs back off. Finally, he tells Raph his story about how his mom was captured because she had evidence against a mob.

Raph agrees to help Tyler out, and ends up getting blinded in the process. With some (un)helpful guiding from Tyler, they make it to the place his mother is being held. When Raph has to take on the villains, Tyler calls out cues to help him out.

Of course, Raph wins (what did you expect? XD) and Tyler saves his mom. The two of them go to the police with the tape and Tyler waves good bye to Raph, who isn\'t seen by the boy\'s mother. Raph runs off, possibly (most likely) back home. Happy ending all around, except that Splinter is still missing.moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

  • QUOTES (2)

    • Raphael: Man is this gonna be a long night. Two major problems: the first, is these guys, your basic criminal-type thugs, which normally wouldn't be a problem at all. Except for the second problem... Some old guy once said, "Anybody who hates kids and dogs can't be all bad." Like I said, it's gonna be a long night.

    • Mob: Well, if it ain't mister blind, green and ugly!
Raph: You got some nerve talking about ugly, pal, wearing a tie like that.
      Mob: What? You can SEE?
Raph: I can see. Although looking at you I'm already kinda missing the blind thing.

  • NOTES (5)

  • ALLUSIONS (3)

    • The Mafia

It is obvious that "The Mob" is really the Mafia, an Italian-American crime syndicate that deals with underground crime (ex. smuggling, protection, murder, drug trafficking) in urban areas.

    • Lone Wolf and Cub

This title and story is clearly a parody of the classic Japanese silent comic book series Lone Wolf and Cub which focused on the adventures of a warrior fending off threats to a child he has sworn to protect.

    • W.C. Fields

Raphael: An old guy once said that anyone who hates dogs and kids can't be all bad...

The old guy who said that was the golden-age screen comedian W.C. Fields. (Is Raphael a fan of old B&W movies?)
