Return to New York (1)
AIRED:
The Turtles return to New York (as the title might suggest) with one goal in mind: to destroy the Shredder once and for all. With April providing remote computer assistance from the lair, the Turtles begin their assault on the Foot HQ skyscraper, fighting their way to the top floor by floor. But first they must overcome an army of Foot Ninja Guards and the deadly cloaking Foot Tech Ninja. But no one is quite prepared for what they encounter inside a Foot Genetics lab...moreless

  • The turtels begin their assult on the foot base.

The episode works well as a appetizer for the later excellence. The plot has almost no flaws and the brilliance of it all is very enjoyable. The only real problem is that the foot do not appear in all their glory. We know of the sheer masses they command, as well as the number of foot tech. It is sad that that not many of the foot are seen. The turtles only fight a few of the basic lot, and three of the tech. One good idea would have been to have had made it longer, as in four of five installments instead of only three. I would have enjoyed seeing more foot attacking the turtles and a longer fight against the foot. If Casey has tagged along that too would have been enjoyable.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • When Donatello was typing in the code to get into the Turtles' lair, it sounded like the main theme song.

    • How did Donatello know what the Foot Tech Ninja were called? The Turtles had met them before, but they had to make a lucky guess to know to refer to them as "Foot Tech Ninja."

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Raphael: Someone once said, "The only difference between men and boys is the size of their toys." Well if that's true, then I think I just became a man. Or at least an Adult Mutant Ninja Turtle. This particular playroom happens to belong to our sworn enemy, Oroku Saki a.k.a. the Shredder. The dudes with the disappearing act, they're called Foot Tech Ninjas, quick to act, tough to beat. We've been fighting our way up, floor by floor, to the top of Shredder's skyscraper of evil. It's kind of like a video game with lots of different levels, only there ain't no earning extra lives in this game.

    • Hun: Sir, the truck was a decoy.
      Oroku Saki: What?
Hun: There's something else you should know. I've seen this truck before. It belongs to the turtles.
Oroku Saki: (about the turtles) The turtles? Alive? But Stockman assured me that they were ...(realizes Stockman's false evidence) Stockman. (on communicator) Stockman, report to me at once. (Stockman ignores Oroku Saki's orders as he makes the exo-suit) Stockman! Stockman! Stockman!

    • Michelangelo: Is that The Shredder?
Donatello: I don't think so, Mikey. Though they might be his genetic clones...
      Raphael: Might be?

    • (Mikey drinks milk out of the carton.)
Casey: Ah, wouldn't that milk be about three months old?
Mikey: (Pukes on Casey, choking) That would explain the chunks!

    • Michelangelo: Are you thinking what I think your thinking?
Donatello: I think he's thinking what you think he's thinking.
Raphael: If he's thinking what I'm thinking, then I'm thinking we shouldn't just be thinking. What do you think?
      Casey: Huh?

    • Casey: I'm telling you there's no one here.
      Splinter: I think he's right.
      April: There's a first.
