AIRED:
The Turtles and Splinter continue to fight their way up through the Foot Headquarters skyscraper, facing down three misshapen Mutant Shredder Clones, a hallway of traps, and never-before-seen supernatural foes known as the Mystic Ninja. Finally, they reach their goal: the top floor and Shredder's throne room. But first they must confront Shredder's deadly Foot Elite Ninja. But things really get out of hand when Stockman, in a souped-up exo-suit, crashes the party — literally.moreless

  • The turtles procced through the shredders tower.

The three different fight sequences in this episode are amazing. The first one, the battle against the clones, has a whole sci-fi vibe to it. The clones, though quite hideous make for a really good fight. This makes up for their slight like of panache. We have a clichéd four-armed one, a crab armed one and a mini shredder. Despite the whole invulnerable/dangerous aura they generate, their lack of any real creativity, make it a bit of a let down, you would have expected them to be harder! The second fight, against the mystic ninja, more than make up for the previous disappointment. This sequence has a very spooky and oriental feel. With the temple setting and the way in which splinter beats them, they make for a beautiful fight. The quality of the skirmish makes up for the slight stupidity of the ninja’s looks. Then, the last bit of the episode, the final battle, or as the final showdown they all hoped it to be. The music combined with the flash backs and initial losses of the turtles all add to that feel, the one of a last stand. This episode is so well crafted that stockman’s intrusion is taken very well, not like the let down it seams to be.moreless
