The Shredder Strikes (1)
AIRED:
Shredder attempts to convince Leonardo that the Shredder is fighting the good fight — that he's out there carrying on the great tradition of bushido and ninjitsu, and the turtles should stand with him. Leonardo is taken in and almost convinces the others until Splinter reveals what he knows of Shredder and Hun — mainly how they did away with Splinter's Master Yoshi. Leonardo realizes he's been fooled — and, it's never a good idea to fool a turtle — at least not a teenage mutant ninja one...moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (7)

    • Leonardo's scabbards are blue in one scene during his fight with Splinter.

    • When those two mysterious guys are talking to the council after Leo meets with Saki, take a look at their medallions, the symbol of the Utrom race can be seen.

    • The body "suit" of shredder is redesigned from how it looked in the old series and the two first movies of TNMT

    • When Mike and Raph are talking on top of The Shredder's Lair On the JuiceBox Video it looks like their masks have been switched.

    • When Shredder enters the home of Hamato Yoshi, he has blades on both of his hands not just his right.

    • It's revealed that the scare on Hun's cheek came from Splinter scratching him as a rat. Those scratch marks are much too big to have come from rat claws. If the flashback didn't show Splinter jumping at Hun, it would be safe to assume that the marks are from Shredder's claws.

    • When Splinter knocks the swords off of Leonardo's hands, you can't hear the swords fall on the ground.

  • QUOTES (9)

    • Leonardo: In our ninja training, Master Splinter is constantly telling us that when given two choices, always choose the harder path. But somehow, when you're a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, the harder path always seems to choose you.

    • Raphael: Master Splinter's got that look.
Donatello: I think somebody's gonna get it.
      (Michelangelo laughs)
Splinter: Michelangelo! Do you think I am funny?
Michelangelo: Um. Yeah! I mean, sometimes. There was that time you told that joke about the ox and the sparrow. It wasn't really a joke, but it was funny, and (Donatello nudges him.) I mean, no, Master Splinter.

    • Raph: Know what I like most about Weapons Practice? The Weapons.
Mikey: Too bad your're stuck with those lame toothpicks and not a real weapon like the nunchucks.
Donnie: Sorry Mikey, but the Bo Staff is really where it's at.
Leo: Boys, put away the toys! Double Katana is the only way to play! (slashes Raph, Mikey, and Donnie)
      Raph, Mikey, and Donnie: Ouch!

    • Mikey: Gee, a fight between Leo and Raph?
Don: Oh, I didn't see that one coming.

    • Mikey: Leo's been acting funny. Not the ha-ha funny, funny funny!
Don: It's not like him to run off like that.
Raph: Yeah, he's acting like me!
Mikey: That's what we need, another you! Another me would be different. That would be a good thing!

    • Leo: Oh Shh....ell.

    • Master Yoshi: He who lives without honor... will end without honor...

    • Shredder: Those who are not with me, are against me! And I crush anyone who stands against me!

    • Leonardo: (to Oroku Saki when he meets him) It's not a costume, though some find it hard to believe.
