  • When Sh'Okanabo unleashes his time window, chaos affects the turtles and other eras of time.

I got to say, I’m more than impress!! With the fast forward series, it is always cool to have a plot with a time window! I loved having the team split up. We had Don and Splinter stuck on the day of their rebirth, Leo and Cody back with the Shredder (boy do I miss him!) and Raph and Mikey still stuck in the future. Poor Raph and Mikey, having to fix the time window all by themselves. They aren’t the smartest of the turtles, but they did it! It was smart of Don to mail a letter to the guys in the future, although it was a cop off of “Back to the Future.” Hey, how come Don only addressed the letter to Mikey and not Raph? I’m glad the Shredder recognized that Leo had ‘changed’. All the turtles have become sharper during the past four years. It’s too bad Cody didn’t get to see more of the turtles and his ancestors in the present. If they ever get that time window working, maybe Cody can come for a quick visit. Speaking of the time window, wouldn’t you think that Lord Simultaneous would show up with all the chaos this time window is causing? Do the writers really think we can just forget about him?

My heart dropped when the guys had a chance to go back home, and didn’t take it. Of course, it was just as well that they didn’t. They still have to take care of Dun, but I hate it when the writers tease us like that!! I do think that the guys will go home soon. After all, Sh'Okanabo is dead (I think and hope) so now they just have to deal with Dun and Viral.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (7)

    • When Splinter is searching for an envelope, it can be seen that they are behind Manny's Meats, which was last seen in the season 5 episode Past Present as the location of one of the keystones.

    • Mikey turns his Important Screw counter-clockwise, which in our world would actually 'unscrew' the screw.

    • Don writes the note with his left hand. He may be left-handed, but had not noticed that previously.

    • The envelope front:
      EXTREMELY URGENT!!
      OPEN IMMEDIATELY!!
      Michelangelo Splinterson
      131 97th St Penthouse
      To be delivered
      exactly the morning
      of July 10th 2105

    • Donny was the one who deliver the envelope to the post office, but his voice sounds like Leo.

    • If Sh'Okanabos timewindow is the same as the one Cody has shouldn't everyone who went through it come out naked, like the Turtles did in Future Shellshock

    • The turtles were clearly seen jumping through Sh'Oknabo's time window back into their own time period; yet, when Cody is about to be destroyed by Sh'Okanabo, the turtles just appear from nowhere and stop him. Yet it didn't directly show them going in. They probably could've just faked it and came back to fight Sh'Okonabo.

  • QUOTES (1)

    • Don: (sees himself and his brothers as unmutated baby turtles fall in to the sewers with a can of ooze from the TCRI building) Did I just witness my own creation?!

  • NOTES (1)

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • Michelangelo recieved a letter which was delivered by mailmen who had it in their possession for 100 years, a refrence to the ending of "Back to the Future II" in which Marty recieves a similar letter from Doc written in 1885.

    • Mikey: Time to make the doughnuts.

This was once the slogan used in old Dunkin' Donuts ads.
