  • While Mikey and Master Splinter are being chased by two new villains, Ralph is befriending a blind old lady.

    9.0
We are gaining action-packed fighting between touch and go against Mikey and Master Splinter. It's nice to see those two having a father son episode. It's also nice to see villains that actually reappear later in future episodes. It gives the whole show a more interesting feel. Ralph is too funny. With being chased down by a mo mob and helping the old lady. Not to mention befriending that cat. We also see in background on New York is responding to the alien invasion, which is going to be the setup for this whole season. We see the Shredder supposedly helping out and citizens freaking out when they think they see an alien. I give this episode two thumbs up.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • When Mike first storms his way into the hotel room where Hun, Touch, and Go are talking, he knocks Hun into Touch and Go and sends all of the money in the suitcase flying. But later, he picks up the suitcase, which is supposedly filled with all of the money. Yet, as he and Splinter are walking away, there is still tons of bills lying all over the floor.

Also, when Mike is looking out the broken window, we see he is talking with Hun who is hanging on to the windowseal. Hun looks pretty angry as Mikey insults him, then walks away. Now Hun is supposed to be a pretty strong guy, so why couldn't he simply pull himself up and back through the window and go after the two mutants? Was he simply too heavy to do so or something?

  • QUOTES (1)

  • NOTES (2)

  • ALLUSIONS (4)

    • E.T

Mob Leader: Maybe he phoned home.

This is the reference to the popular '80s movie E.T., where the friendly alien frequently used the phrase, "E.T. phone home."

    • The Terminator

Michelangelo: What are these guys, Terminators?

Mikey likens Touch and Go to the legendary indestructible cyborg from the future, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

    • Wonder Twins

Michelangelo likens Mr. Touch and Mr. Go to the Wonder Twins, the campy sixties superhero siblings who activated their powers of transformation by touching their fists together.

    • Mr. T

Michelangelo: I pity the fool who throws a train at me.

Mikey calls Touch "Mr. T" who was an '80s character famous for quotes that began with "I pity the fool..."
