The story follows the adventures of a Letter Bee (a sort of postman) named Lag Seeing and his comaptriots (including a talking steak!) in a mythical world filled with magic and dangerous monsters.
The plot is very different and original a filled with great characters. The leads in particular are well written and the voice actors are excellent. There are also some very nice visuals in the show and the music is also very well done. All in all this a very good show but there are points where it feels a little slow and the pace needs to be increased just a little. This show is an anime adaptation of Hiroyuki Asada's fantasy drama manga series. The story takes place in the land of AmberGround, a place of perpetual night illuminated only by an artificial sun. Lag Seeing dreams of working as a 'Letter Bee', a mail worker who risks life and limb to deliver letters and packages anywhere. In his quest to become one of the select few allowed to travel freely in AmberGround he encounters a strange girl called Niche who becomes his travelling companion and protector known as a Dingo.
