yes, there is a possibility that Tenchi Muyo! will come back someday since funimation is releasing the third OVA series on dvd. if u check out the official website at www.tenchireturns.com then check the news updates, you'll find that volume 2 and 3 are coming out later this year.

Your kidding right, those are two of the worst shows ever made. Completly nonesence plots, even for anime, and the characters are copleatly one dimensional. The writing makes a Three Stooges short seem high brow.(not dissing the stooges by the way. they're freaking hilarious.)

As confusing Tenchi Muyo and Ryuoki was, I still say it shouldn't have been cancelled! I really hope they return with a new series or season someday. That reminds me though, was the Galaxy Police series for Tenchi in its series category?

I heard it was because Toonami only had the rights to air it on its block temporarily. Sad, I really liked it.

Tenchi Muyo can't get cancelled because of Totally Spies and Code Lyoko because those shows are from France and Tenchi Muyo is from Japan.

Tenchi Muyo! ran its course of episodes under 3 arcs: Tenchi Muyo!, Tenchi Universe, and Tenchi In Tokyo. All of these shows have ended their story. Tenchi Muyo! GXP however, as i know was never on Cartoon Network. It was one of those restricted to FuniMation channel or Anime Network. The dvds are around but i think restricting Tenchi Muyo! GXP to a premium channel that cost extra is probably what brought Tenchi Muyo! GXP down.

I don't expect there to be another Tenchi spin-off after this because of that fact.

However, if they do i hope they have the good sense to put it on Cartoon Network or Adult Swim and not Funimation channel or Anime Network or Boomerang since all of those channels are given an extra charge on your cable bill.

Outside of the Sasami spinoff shows and Dual!, which have run their course, I believe there's one more Tenchi related series in the works. But I doubt any of that will make it onto Cartoon Network. Sasami Magical Girls Club is wrapping up its little run on Funimation On Demand.
