  • Well, that’s a ho-hum climax for the OAV3.

    8.0
This episode’s a decent mix of sci-fi and classic anime conclusions, with characters revealing their true natures. We finally see the final showdown and some major interactions between Tenchi, Z, and some larger than life folks. The revelation isn’t a surprise, in fact the creators remind me a lot of the Ah My Goddess sisters, especially considering who voices one of them. The plot seemed rather confusing especially when people started calling out members of their family and appearing as multiple versions of themselves especially with Ryo-Ohki, Tsunami, and then the naked spirit that kisses Tenchi? The roles of many of the women are thrown aside for the major plot. About the only person who retains some relationship portion is Ryoko. Good for her! I wish Ayeka and Noike had a greater role some role in this series. Where’s Lady Seto? She kind of disappeared for a while.moreless
  • Conclusion episode to the Tenchi Muyo Ryo Ohki OVA 3.

    10
It's a mind blowing conclusion episode for the 3rd OVA. It starts with Z attacking earth and forcing Tenchi to bring out his LightHawk Wings, only to be confronted by Z; in which to show that Z and Tenchi are of the same type of super beings. This episode also shows the three sisters together (Tsunami, Washu and Tokimi) and exposes their plot and relations towards everything that has happened.

Overall it ties everything together in the OVA timeline.moreless

    • The counteracter that threatens to kill Lady Tokimi, is revealed to be Tsunami's own mother.

    • Broadcast Date: This episode originally aired in Japan on March 16, 2005, and went straight to video in the US as a DVD release. None of the OAV3 series has aired on Cartoon Network.
