Looking at the bloodbath of TV cancellations and the glut of awful reality shows I think it is time we revolted against the Nielsen Ratings System. Apparently they only choose the most cattle like families for their group of 5000 people that determine what stays on. Frankly I don't believe in the accuracy. They certainly do not reflect the shows that are popular on a site like this one. The networks only care about advertising revenue based on artificial demographics. The only way to effect them is to give the sponsors the idea that you are helping them. Make the corporations who advertise insist that the shows return or they will take their ad dollar elsewhere. If the Nielsen system is debunked maybe the public can be in charge of the fate of the shows we invest ourselves in. Pass it on.

Best way to save the show?? BUY THE DVDs!!!!(especially season 2 when it comes out) Buying the dvds (even if you don't watch them ever again) is the only surefire way to show a network that there is a strong following of the show. writing the network helps, but in the end it is all a numbers game and DVD sales DO count in those numbers

Just remember back to the show "firefly" After cancellation seemingly out of nowhere a HUGE fanbase spoke out. I see that show on almost every "top 10 scifi shows ever" type list and the sheer number of supporters it has is staggering. Now this didn't save the show, but it did spark a movie that turned out to be a blockbuster! I think if enough people buy the DVDs FOX will think twice about canceling the show (cuz simply making a movie to wrap it up again isn't really an option in this case lol)

ALSO AS THE ABOVE POST SAYS. WRITE THEM!!! show them that you are not just a casual viewer and that it is your fav show of all time (even if its not) it is the next best way

Hmmm. Firefly, a show on Fox, was canceled because of poor management by Fox. Dvd sales were huge, so WB aquired the rights for a movie, which was Serenity.

Now we have Terminator TSCC, a show on Fox, possibly getting canceled. THe show is phenominal, so DVD sales will definately be good. Also, WB owns the rights to Terminator. Good chance we will see WB make a Terminator movie based off of the show.

I think the best way is to buy the DVD's and Bluray's.

Other than that, we just have to make a big buzz. Write letters (if you can't send emails), tell your friends about the show (they might get hooked, buy the dvd's or send letters), join into this online voting stuff (especially the eonline one, because I think that is about the only one that can help) and petition signing, open groups on facebook and whatnot. If you haven't already, there is a petition circulationg to save the show, please sign it and hopefully get it picked up by another network, if FOX cancels it:

Or you can email FOX at askfox@fox.com with your thoughts on the show!!!

having the curent executives stuck in padded cells were they will be to druged to destroy anymore tv and have people with an IQ of at least 90 a preference for quality and absolute loathing towards reality tv run the channel, ax all the reality garbage clearing room on the schedule for quality and severing ties with neilson, they would be beter of getting theire data from tv.com, TIVO(lots of subscribers and data even if they charge an arm and a leg for use of a vcr with a hard drive), the dishnet, directv, and any cable company that requires cable boxes that they get info from.

One simple question for fox - What sci-fi show will replace this one? There will always be a solid sci-fi show audience base. BSG has ended, Heroes becoming so so and with Terminator Salvation coming out, this is an opportunity to feed a hungry sci-fi crowd. Cancelling this show is another Firefly mistake with an empty sci fi slot in the fall.

I'm a fan of this show and would like to see the cooperative relationships with the terminators and humans evolve into some complex drama. I thought the Cameron/John dynamic- the Pinocchio theme -was working well until her damaged chip zeroed out her "human" side. Please fix Cameron somehow in season 3 and let them evolve. After all, this is about finding compassion in the cyborg reality as much as the human conflict, right?

The third TSCC season with the movie launch is an opportunity to radically take the series into a new direction if necessary. This is a good, interesting show. If Lost can reinvent itself and keep going, then this show can too.

Ok, the eonline vote has been reset. The top 5 shows are now competing against each other, and Terminator definitely needs your vote!

    here is the link: http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/watch_with_kristin/b120751_save_one_show_play_game-changer_round.html

Poll closes on the 29th and given that Chucks finale airs tonight, we might have a big problem... so get voting!

The most important way is missing. Watch the show and encourage your friends to watch it. That's the bottom line. No viewers = no show. This isn't public TV.
