As good as this looks... the problem is its on FOX...and fox LOVES to create a good show, get devoted fans, and then cancel it before its time...anyone else worried of this happening?

I 100 % agree with U, FOX gets u hooked on to a show then shuts it down.

I know! I loved John Doe, Brimstone and even more recently Sons of Tuscon. I hate that they have to cancel every show I love.

I agree, it does make me apprehensive but a lot of other networks can be just as bad. I will be watching and keeping my fingers crossed that it gets the chance to develop!

Well this show sadly will most likely be cancelled as its going to compete with the other shows Major fall shows it would be a great show to be on during the summer. IMO.

oh yes! Your so right I didnt even think about that. What was that really cool show where everyone could see what was going to happen in the future? I almost cried when they canceled it.

And Tru Calling! I'm still so god damn angry about that. So I am also concerned about the show being on Fox.

Especially now when FOX postponed it to the fall.

YEP...hope it's not due to Aussie decisions being that Murdock (denounced Aussie) owns the thing... i am already having second thoughts about being Australian with the crap our government serves up.

Hey Firefly, Sarah Connor Chronicles, Heroes, Journeyman, Persons Unknown, Tremors...i could go on and on, but lets hope Stargate doesn't fade out like Star Trek did...and where the hell is Eureka & Warehouse 13 gone to?

Common guys! Fox is spending 4 million an episode on a SCI-FI show! No network has the balls to do that.

All of those shows that FOX cancelled didn't have big followings. They may have had some loyal fans but never had the stellar ratings. FOX has also had many shows with lower ratings that they gave more than enough chances too. I'm really looking forward to Terra Nova and I hope the ratings are good, but no network is in the business of losing money.

Yep, it's all about having enough bums in front of the TV, and the right ones. You want viewers who will watch the ads, then go out and buy whatever the ads are trying to sell. 2 million really committed fans isn't enough if the network figures it needs 10 million viewers who'll go out the next day and buy, buy, buy.

I think it's just because many of the shows that did get cancelled were sci-fi shows, and that's such a niche audience of people that are willing to watch it. I'm surprised Fox keeps on taking chances on them though Terra Nova to me is more for a lot of people. Even kids like dinosaurs. And sure, the premise is fake that these people come to Terra Nova, and there were dinosaurs, but dinosaurs were real at one time, so it's not a total fake thing.
