Sky One are usually quite good with their adaptations so if it fails it won't be through lack of effort (or money). What do you think?

I doubt it - their last effort didn't really. But I'll try to keep an open mind when watching it.

How do we know if we've not seen it yet? Stupid question.

No movie/tv show can ever live up to the books. Terry's humor is at it's peak in books.

i feel this adaptation was the best of the three so far. charles dance as lord vetinari... INSPIRED CASTING! and richard coyle never fails to entertain. i think we could use some more adaptations from either the moist von lipwig line or the city watch line. (angua was spot on as well.) all in all, very well done, nothing like the abomination that was the color of magic.
