  • The pilot episode of Testees sees Ron and Peter testing out gas pill which has a side effect on Peter

This was from the creator of Kenny vs. Spenny, Kenny Hotz who also wrote a couple of episodes for South Park. If you like those shows you are probably going to like Testees. Testees was canceled after one season but after the time last year to watch the full season, I have to say I liked it.

The actors they have here Steve Markle and Jeff Kassel do everything that Kenny asks of them.

This is funny, bizarre, over the top, silly, stupid, in short it's everything you can for.

The two are guinea test subjects for Testico. The idea is that these two guys are the lab rats. Every week they do a crazy experiment for Testico. Instead of experimenting on animals, they experiment on humans. The concept is different but works on the show setting up a lot hilarious scenarios.

The pilot sets the tone for the rest of the show everything from gas pills tp pregnancy to penis enlargement is dabbled with.

Here Peter and Ron take a gas pill experiment which has the side effect of giving Peter female organs making pregnant. It sounds dumb but is executed well to be funny.

It's hilarious how the guys deal with the situations handed to them.moreless
  • A big disappointment from FX.

I had somewhat high hopes for this show. I saw many (extremely) vague commercials during Always Sunny, and I figured it was their marketing technique to keep it mysterious in order to draw more viewers. At the same time, I realized that it was possible that the advertisers could not clip together enough funny pieces for a commercial that would actually make people want to watch it. I remained optimistic, assuming the show would be a great surprise. Unfortunately I was wrong. The first episode of "testees" was about as funny and original as the name of the show. I was happy to see Kenny Hotz in the show, but was unhappy about the fact that he was less funny acting than he is in person. Maybe the next episode will be better, but so far this show has "cancelled" written all over it. What a disappointment. Thanks FX.moreless
