Episode Recap

Berle is not seen "in the flesh" on this episode. Instead, a cardboard cut-out of him (with his recorded voice) chats with guests and regular Arnold Stang.
Jack Buchanan does a monologue about the differences between the US and Britain and sings "I Hate the Morning".
Kay Thompson sings "It's Alright with Me" and "Shadrack". She dances and sings "I Love a Violin". This leads into Buchanan playing "Love in Bloom" on the violin. The two then duet on "We Love a Cup Of Tea". Delores Gray sings "Finger of Suspicion".
Paul Winchell performs songs and comedy with his friends Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead. Smith and Dale perform a sketch as delicatessen owners.
The whole cast joins in the finale: a salute to New Year's Eve.
