Elvis performs "I Want You, I Need You, I Love You", which he receives his second gold record for. He also does "Hound Dog", slowing it down mid-song to give it the bump-and-grind. Some members of the very vocal audience laugh at his wild dance while the young women shriek.
Berle comes out, howling his rendition of "Hound Dog" while walking on the sides of his feet. Miltie asks Elvis how he can get the girls to scream for him, but Elvis claims to not like it; he'd prefer a "real" woman like Debra Paget. Berle says she's too sophisticated for Elvis and brings her out to prove it. She slinks onstage in an evening gown--then screams and plants one on Elvis' lips!
