    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (2)

      • This is the first time a female has won the Most Valuable Performer since the 5th episode of last season.

      • This is the second time that radio co-hosts Tony Martin and Ed Kavalee have appeared together in a scene as guest and ensemble cast member respectively. This time it is in the group challenge in a reunion style TV show with Tony as a past TV star and Ed as the show's host.

    • QUOTES (12)

      • Interviewer: And Matthew, and you are currently the voice of...
Tony Martin: The GE Money Genie.

      • Presenter: And what do you look for in your fruit and veg?
Tahir Bilgiç: I look for use by dates.

      • Woman: Is there anything you would like to say before you go and get changed for the swimwear section?
Cal: I would just like to say to the judges, um, that if I win, I put out.

      • Woman: If you were stuck on a desert island with one thing to read, what would it be?
Cal: It would be the palm of Brad Pitt.
Man: Who would your dream date be?
Cal: It would be Brad Pitt on a palm leaf.
Woman: Who inspires you and why?
Cal: Brad Pitt, because he has such beautiful palms!

      • Judge 2: If you could get rid of one thing in the world, what would that be?
Cal: Uh, it would be... Miss China!

      • Judge 1: I understand you're a UNIFED ambassador. What is that?
Cal: Well, that means that you only get fed once.

      • Woman: You've said recently that if you win you have three key goals. One involves science
Cal: That's right. I'm going to learn how to spell it!
Woman: Another of your goals, Miss. Caicos, involves nuclear proliferation
        Cal: That's a contraceptive, right?
Woman: And your final goal involves Angelina and Brad
Cal: That's right. I'm going to split them up!

      • Woman: My sources tell me that growing up you were a bit of a tomboy. What caused you to change?
Cal: I got, how you say, the breasticles. And they make me now I am a lady in the front!

      • Cal: Well, I'm prime export of Caicos. Ah, gross national product would be, you. (to female pageant hostess)

      • Man: What is the national anthem of Caicos?
Cal: Caicos! Caicos! Don't we like Caicos! Obviously it don't rhyme in English, but in Cocacian, beautiful!

      • Cal Wilson: Twice in my life I've worn a dress.
Host: And it's on this show.

      • Host: Miss Caicos.
Cal Wilson: I think that means I'm jumping out of a cake.

    • NOTES (1)

      • Most Valuable Performer: Cal Wilson

Cal Wilson got her first win tonight in her second appearance on the show.

Tony Martin and Tahir Bilgiç also made their second appearances this episode, but both have yet to have a win.

This was the debut appearance for American comedian Arj Barker. It is unlikely that he will make any more appearances as he is only in Australia on his stand-up tour and to promote his DVD.

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • "Now and Then" refers to the channel seven show "Where Are They Now" where they interview people from old TV shows or movies.

      • Tahir Bilgiç refers to "Sizzlers" when his wife asks which restaurant to go to... Sizzlers is a family restaurant that has an all you can eat salad bar.
