The episode begins with a short recap of the end of last season: Jackie telling Hyde that she's moving to Chicago, and Hyde discovering Kelso and Jackie in the hotel room. [Scene change: Kelso sits on the floor and boogies to music.] In the Forman kitchen, Donna tells Kitty that making a tape to send to Eric is a great idea. Fez offers to do Porky Pig on the tape. Kelso comes in and asks if Hyde's there; Kitty says that they haven't heard from Hyde since he left for Chicago a month ago. Kelso's worried about seeing Hyde again, since he doesn't know what Hyde will do to him for being with Jackie; Fez says that Hyde's right behind him, but he's not. Kitty starts the tape, Donna says hi and Fez starts his Porky Pig impersonation; Kitty tells Eric that she and Red did a sweep of the basement after discovering the gang down there in the circle... In the Forman basement, Kitty and Red yell at Hyde and Fez while they search the basement; Red finds the stash...and so does Kitty. Hyde says he's never seen the bags before in his life and blames it on Eric. Red tells Kitty to flush both bags down the toilet, and she says she's glad they caught them before it became an everyday thing. Red asks if that's all the stash; Fez lets it slip that there's more in the Candyland game. Kitty tells Eric on the tape that she flushed it all down the toilet. Donna says to tell Eric what else happened... In the Forman upstairs hallway, Red comes upstairs with the third bag, opens the bathroom door, and smoke pours out. He asks Kitty what she's doing and she says that she's starving, and begins to laugh. [Opening credits: In the Forman basement, in the circle: Jackie, Hyde, Donna, Fez, Kitty, Red, Bob, and Leo are credited. The license plate is shown, but there is no year-validation tag on it.] [Scene change: Donna's face in a close up shot.] In the Forman kitchen, Donna says she can't believe that Red caught Kitty with the stash; Kitty says she wanted to see what the hubbub was about; she tells Eric that Red gave her a stern talking the Forman kitchen, Red yells at Kitty and calls her a dope fiend, she sees the wallpaper moving. Hyde tells her that dope can kill her brain cells, and cause hallucinations. She sees Red all stretched out and Hyde squashed; she laughs as Red yells at her. Then both Hyde and Red have big heads, which Hyde understands. In the Forman kitchen, they tell Eric that Hyde went to Chicago, and walked in on Jackie and Kelso, and that Kelso told them the whole story... in the Forman basement, Kelso says that Jackie said that she was lonely and the next thing he knew he was naked, and Hyde kicked him out, so he left; Randy says that Hyde's going to kick his ass; Kelso goes for the door, but Jackie comes in and starts hitting Kelso. She asks where Hyde is, but he's not there and no one knows where he is. Kelso says that he never meant for this to happen and then asks if they're back together; Jackie says no, they're not. In the Forman kitchen, Bob comes in and wants to borrow butter or oil, not for cooking but for tanning. He asks about the tape recorder, and Kitty gives him the mike to say hi to Eric; Bob starts singing What's New Pussycat. Donna wants him to say something normal. Red comes in and Kitty gives Red the mike; Red says that he saw Eric's old baseball mitt in the garage, and the thought what he always thinks when he sees that: "What a waste of money." Kitty tells Eric that his leaving was hard on Red, and that he sat around moping... in the Forman basement, Red comes downstairs and dances with Kitty and then throws one of Eric's models out the door. Kitty tells Eric that they gave some of his toys to the church. [Scene change: Red's face in a close up shot.] In the Forman living room, Fez hits a bottle with a deck of cards into the microphone and Kitty asks if Eric can guess what that is? Donna grabs the mike and says that she misses him, and Kitty agrees. Hyde comes in and Kitty is ecstatic; she hugs him, and Fez does too. Kelso comes in and doesn't know what to say when he sees Hyde. Hyde says, "What about 'Ow"?", Kelso asks, "Why would I say Ow?" and then Hyde punches him. Kelso falls to the floor, and then begins to laugh, as he now gets it. [Scene change: Hyde's face in a close up shot.] In the Forman living room, Kitty tells Eric that Hyde just hit Kelso, and that it was very exciting, even though she's disappointed. Hyde tells Kelso to get up and that everything that he wanted to say was in that one punch. Kelso says it was a good one, and he peed himself a little on the way down. Fez asks where Hyde's been; he tells them that he was in Las Vegas. Kitty says she was worried sick, and starts to bawl him out for leaving without telling them where he was going; Hyde gives her a souvenir and she's happy again. Jackie comes in and wants to talk about their relationship; so Hyde starts, saying that she nailed Kelso; she wants a chance to explain. She says that they never slept together; Kitty asks them to stop yelling, but only so she can change the tape. Hyde says forget it and leaves. Jackie leaves too. [Scene change: Fez dances across the screen.] In the Forman kitchen, Red comes in and Kitty asks him to tell Eric that he misses him. Red takes the mike and says, "Your G.I. Joes were killed in the great dumpster war of 1979." Kitty tells Red that his meatloaf was lost in the great 'make your own dinner war' She then catches Eric up on Charlie... At the water tower, Kelso climbs up and asks who brought the beer; Charlie has it. He says it's good to finally belong to a group; it's like the first day of the rest of his life. As he reaches for a beer, he falls off the tower. Donna, Kelso and Fez look down at him, and Donna comments that it was an awkward landing; Kelso says that no one has ever died falling off the tower... Kitty tells Eric that they renamed the tower after Charlie. [Scene change: Jackie's face in a close up shot.] In Jackie's bedroom, Jackie is upset, Donna tries to talk to her, but Jackie won't talk. Donna uses one of Jackie's stuffed unicorns, Mr. Fluffycakes, to talk to her, but Jackie just grabs it and rips it in half. Kelso comes in and tells Jackie that he feels bad about things, and she should be with Hyde; Jackie says that there's no point because Hyde doesn't want to be with her. Kelso asks, "Why else would Hyde drive to Chicago to propose to you?" Jackie's excited that he was going to propose, and runs out to find Hyde. in Red and Kitty's bedroom, Kitty tells Red that she's upset that he wouldn't say anything nice to Eric. Red says that even if he did miss Eric, he still wouldn't feel comfortable saying it on tape, but finally admits to Kitty that he misses Eric and then leaves the room. Kitty pulls the tape recorder out from under the blanket, and comments that she should be in the FBI. [Scene change: Kitty's face in a close up, Red leans over and looks at the camera.] In the Forman living room, Hyde talks to Eric on the tape, telling him to rock on; Kitty says she now understands hippy jargon. Jackie comes in and Kitty gives the two of them privacy by going into the den, but peeking over the ledge and doing a running commentary on the tape for Eric. Jackie apologizes and says that she was so alone and thought that she'd lost him; she asks why he didn't tell her that he wanted to get married; he says that he wasn't sure he wanted to get married yet. Jackie says "yet?". The doorbell rings, it's a girl, looking for Hyde. She comes in and Jackie asks who she is; she introduces herself as Sam; Hyde says that she's an exotic dancer he met in Vegas and asks why she's there. She says, "You don't remember? We got married!" Jackie is shocked and leaves; Kitty tells Eric that Hyde got married. [Scene change: Kelso jumps up towards camera.] At the water tower, Kelso says being there makes him think of Billy; Fez points out that his name was Charlie. Kelso says that it just goes to show that no one is invincible, in fact, everyone is 'vincible'; he falls off the water tower, and from the ground yells that he ~is~ invincible.
