Episode Recap

In the Forman kitchen, Eric tells Hyde that Casey just came by to pick up Donna and sat outside her house revving his engine, and then pulled donuts in the middle of the street, but Donna came out and was all smiles when she got into his car. Kitty and Red come in; Kitty tells them that she won a year's supply of wieners at the grocery store, so they're having a BBQ tomorrow, and that she saw Donna with her new boyfriend at the store and invited them too. Red isn't happy about the BBQ, and when Eric says that Donna's boyfriend will ruin everything, Red tries to use that as an excuse to cancel it, but Kitty won't let him. They leave the kitchen, and Hyde tells Eric that he's screwed. [No opening credits sequence; the cast credits ran during the opening teaser.] [Scene change: Eric jumps in the air in a sleeping position.] In the Forman basement, Fez tells the guys that Kitty inviting Casey to the BBQ is a burn; Kelso agrees and then compares it to Jackie kissing other guys. Hyde punches Kelso and tells him that he's sick of hearing about all their girl-problems, and that whenever anyone mentions that again, he's going to throw something, and this time, he threw his fist. Eric starts talking about Donna; Hyde throws a magazine at him. Eric is sure that when Donna sees Casey at the BBQ among all her other friends, she'll see that Casey is wrong for her and come back running back to Eric. Fez tells the guys that he's having problems with Rhonda as well, because he can't get past second base with her. [Scene change: Kelso falls away from the camera.] In Jackie's bedroom, Kelso is giving her a pedicure, but gets upset that someone else might be enjoying the benefits of his hard work on her beautiful toes, and wants her to apologize again for cheating on him. This time, Jackie refuses, and points out that he never apologized when he cheated on her; she tells him that they need professional help and suggests Cosmo. [Scene change: Jackie struts towards the camera.] In the Forman driveway, Eric tells Fez to ask for advice from Casey on his problem with Big Rhonda, and then says that he'll give advice too, and his will be better than Casey's. Donna and Casey arrive; Fez asks for advice on how to get past second base, and Eric tells him that he should be patient and respectful, and Rhonda will let him get to third. He then turns to Casey and asks what his advice is; Casey says that Fez should just skip second all together and go straight for third. Fez thinks this is genius, and Donna agrees, which shocks Eric, and makes Hyde laugh. Jackie tells Kelso that the article she read in Cosmo made her realize that there's a deeper problem in their relationship: she's still hurt because of all his cheating, and she's not sorry that she kissed another guy. She tells Kelso that he needs to read the article as well and find out why he cheated. Elsewhere, Donna takes a hot dog, but says that she only wants half; Casey pulls a knife out of his pocket and cuts it for her, then tells Eric that although Eric is the "boy scout", he, Casey, is the one who's prepared. Eric decides to bring out the big guns: his parents. He introduces Kitty to Casey; she just stares at him and giggles like a schoolgirl, which doesn't make Eric happy. Red comes over and tells them that the idiot neighbors drank all the beer; Casey says that he keeps a spare case in the trunk of his car, and goes to get it. Hyde asks Donna about Casey, and she says that he's changed, and she likes him, so Hyde will just have to get used to it. Casey comes back with the case of beer, which he gives to Red, impressing him; he also gives a can of soda to Eric, the "minor" and that impresses Kitty. [Scene change: Eric pounds on the screen.] In the Forman basement, Eric and Kelso sit together on the sofa; Eric remembers when life was simpler, when he was 12 years old and didn't like girls. Kelso says that he liked girls when he was 12. Eric tells Kelso that he gave it his best shot, but Donna's still with Casey and there's nothing left for him to do. Kelso says that Eric can't give up, and tells Eric that what he had with Donna was real, and that Casey is bad news, so Eric has to do something. Eric wonders why Kelso is suddenly being so serious, and Kelso tells him it's because of Cosmo. In the Forman kitchen, Kitty serves hot dog soup for lunch, and grilled cheese sandwiches with hot dogs in them; Eric comes upstairs and tells them that he's let things go too far, and he has to do something. Hyde agrees, and Fez does as well, and adds that Eric needs to use his special strength, then imagines... a game show, called "Get Into That Box" where Eric is squished into a small box. Casey Kelso comes out on stage, and Fez, as the announcer, challenges him to get into that box. Casey tries, but fails, and wonders how Eric does it. Donna comes out and hugs Eric's box, and says that he's just so tiny. Eric tells the guys that he's going over to Casey's place, and Hyde suggests that if nothing else, Eric can kick Casey in the stones and run. [Scene change: Donna dances towards the camera.] In the Forman basement, Fez is making out with Rhonda on the sofa; we see the scene from Rhonda's point of view. Fez kisses her, then offers her some soda; she drinks it all, which annoys him a little, but he suggests that they move on to second base. She nods, and Fez makes a grab for third... she slaps him. In Jackie's bedroom, Kelso tells Jackie that he knows why he cheated; when they first started dating, Jackie told him that he wasn't smart enough, and has always put him down; he adds that he's not sorry that he cheated on her either. Jackie tells him that that's the stupidest thing she's ever heard. Kelso announces that the two of them just aren't right for each other because she makes him feel bad about himself, and that's why he's breaking up with her. Jackie is shocked, and wants to talk, but Kelso leaves. In front of the Kelso home, Casey is sitting on a lawn chair. Eric arrives and tells Casey that Donna thinks that he loves her, and if he doesn't, he shouldn't pretend that he does, and he shouldn't hurt her. Donna comes out of the house and asks why Eric's there? Casey takes her hands, kisses her and says, "Love ya!" Donna giggles and goes back in the house. Casey turns to Eric and tells him that it's just words, and doesn't have to mean anything. Eric tells Casey that if he hurts Donna, Eric will come back... but leaves the threat hanging. [Scene change: Eric looks up at the camera and makes come-on hand motions.] In the Forman basement, in the circle, Kelso tells the guys that it's over between him and Jackie; Eric tells them that he's going to kick Casey's ass; Fez says that Rhonda dumped him, and Hyde laughs at them all. [End credits: In the Forman kitchen, the guys are gathered around the table, looking at a Cosmo magazine. Eric comments that it's like Playboy, but for women. Fez points out what he thinks is a map of Six Flags. Kitty and Red come in and ask what they're doing? Red wants to know if they're looking at a dirty magazine, but when Kitty sees that it's Cosmo, she says, "Good for you!" Red looks at them in disgust and tells them that they're spending too much time together.]
