Trivia

FILTER BY TYPE

  • Trivia

    • Fatso the clown has his nose painted on his face. When Fez unintentionally shatters Fatso, only the torso shatters, and the head is seen rolling away, intact. However, a few seconds later, Donna picks up a red ball from the debris of the torso, and refers to is as "the nose".

  • Quotes

    • Donna: We're stealing a clown. Being bad is so exciting! Look, my palms are sweaty. When I was with Eric the only time my palms got sweaty was when I was holding his sweaty palms.

    • Fez: I've got it! Let's throw a bunch of pickle slices at his window. Then he'll be a prisoner in his own pickle prison!
Randy: Or we could steal Fatso the Clown.
Hyde: Steal Fatso the Clown. That's genius.

    • Hyde: So there it is. The clown's back. Everyone is happy and nobody went to jail... What a waste of time.

    • Fez: I can't believe I got to third base with a clown.
Donna: Fez, there's nothing below his waist.
Fez: Well I got ahold of something.

    • (about stealing Fatso)
Hyde: Mrs. Forman, I can explain. There's nothing to do in this town.

    • (about Fatso)
Red: Nice going. I hate that thing. It's always smilin' when nothing's funny.

    • Bob: I'll always remember where is was when I heard the news that Fatso was stolen. I was reading the paper in the can, same way with Kennedy.

    • Hyde: That was awesome. Bob just got into a fight with a ceramic clown.
Donna: Believe it or not, that wasn't the first time.

    • Randy: I'll just ask Red if I can borrow the car.
Hyde: While you're at it, why don't you ask Red if your ass can borrow his foot?

    • Fez: Listen Randy. Just because I ate three hamburgers, doesn't mean I like you. It just means I have no self-control.

    • Jackie: Fez, why do you pick on Randy? Based on his hair and his looks, I think he's a really good person.
Fez: I just don't like people who aren't from here, that's all.

    • Donna: Fez, chairs are first come, first serve. We decided that in the great chair negotiation of '78.

  • Notes

  • Allusions

    • At the very end of the episode, Jackie wakes up in her bed, which is covered in blood, next to the severed head of Fatso the Clown.

This is an allusion to a scene in the 1972 movie The Godfather, where Hollywood producer Jack Woltz, played by John Marley, wakes up in bed next to the severed head of his prized race horse after he would not do a favour for Don Corleone.

    • Donna: We were watching The Boy In The Plastic Bubble and someone came really near the bubble with a pair of scissors.

The Boy In The Plastic Bubble was a 1976 made-for-TV movie starring John Travolta about a boy who lacked a viable immune system and had to spend his life isolated inside a plastic bubble.
