This is a great show. Well written and all the actors really grow as actors throughout the series. Everyone is funny and that its set in the 70s makes it really interesting for both people that were alive during the 70s and the people that were born after.

Fez is definitely the best character in the show in my honest opinion. Just because he is so weird with his relationship with Kelso.

But overall its a fantastic show and I LOVE IT!!!!

Many,, "many" times during That 70's Show when you saw the characters laughing, they were laughing in real life. As in the laughter was often not acting. The cast had such a good time making the show that there was constant laughter on the set. Therefore the camera crew kept filming. One particularly notable scene was when Jackie, Donna and Kitty went to a male stripper bar/pub. A young man (stripper) was dancing on stage near Kitty's face. In the original script she was suppose to have gotten nervous and acted offended. But instead she decided to play and joke, started dancing , shaking her bum left to right and acting like she liked the stripper a lot. Donna and Jackie laughed so hard "for real" that one of the girls fell off of her chair. The producers found this much funnier and decided to keep this scene. It's no wonder that a sitcom like this made it 8 years and is one of the most `syndicated` sitcoms of all time on many channels. Much of it's humor was truly genuine.

What stroke me the most about this show was really it's innocence, with the simplest things you get an amazing whole. This show is about learning as you grow up, and including some good values of the older days with a bit of irreverence to it. It's about the magic of everyday life: of growing up surrounded by your friends, your first kiss, the anger speeches of your parents... things everyone can relate to and appreciate. Without a doubt atimeless piece, that i hope someone rescues from oblivion.

Fox had done it again.Since it created The Critic,it had created a pretty good show.I don't like it,but it's a very good show. It's pretty funny, but not better than that hilralious Drake And Josh.Well,The Critic is very funny now on that Reelz Channel. But now Punk'd is very better than this show.Since Askton Kuther has been on this show and Punk'd,so he has been doing very good shows lately.Punk'd was pretty good than this show, but this show is a pretty good show. This is my final grade and I grade this show a B because I don't like it,but it's a excellent show.

before everyone goes hog wild {i know a lot of people will disagree with this review, but please hear me out}, i have to say i simply do not like this show. I mean yea, every now and then if I watch it I might get a laugh or so, but I do not see what is so great out of this. I think it is overrated. I am sorry if people disagree with this {i know some will}, this is just my honest opinion of the show. I don't think it is funny and I don't think it has good plots at all

This is a show I really like. Some pros are it's creative, the laugh track actually plays at FUNNY things, and the actors.

Let's sum up the show. The show's main stars are Eric (Topher Grace), Hyde (Danny Masterson), Jackie (Mila Kunis), Donna (Laura Prepon), Fez (Wilmer Valderrama), and Kelso (Ashton Kutcher).

Eric is *to me* the mainprotagonist. His mom, Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) is more of the nicer parent and his dad, Red (Kurtwood Smith) is a total misanthrope when it doesn't come to Kitty. He hates Eric, his neighbors, every existing thing that's not his wife. He often mentions sticking his foot up people's asses.

My favorite character is Fez. He is funny, random, and weird. Some memorable Fez quotes would be "Where's my toast, you idiots?" and his main quote, "You son of a b*tch!"

    Overall, great show. 10/10

I was once a big fan of this show and whilst I'm now not nearly the fan I was before there is absolutely no denying that from series 3-5 That '70's Show was the best American sitcom in a long, long time. The humour, whilst not always laugh-out-loud funny, had heart and you cared for the characters and the situations they were in. To me Hyde was always the best. A great deal of the show's humour comes from foreign exchange student, Fez. Leo, as played by Tommy Chong, is another one of my favourite characters. No-nonsense father Red Foreman is also a notable character. That 70's Show is sadly now over, and whilst season 8 may have been dissapointing the show without doubt ended honourably with the series finale.

My first thought when I first heard of the show was "What kind of name is That 70s Show?" I didn't really understand what this show could possible be about, and me, being narrow-minded, decided not to bother watching it.

It was only one day, when I was incredibly bored, did I decide to watch it, as I surfed through all the TV channels and came across that 70s Show.

I'm really glad I was bored that day. Otherwise, I might not have ever given That 70s Show a chance, until perhaps much later.

It's another show that centers around a group of teens going through adulthood, dealing with problems, relationships, etc, but in a very hilarious way.

That 70s Show is great show filled with humor, clever jokes and witty characters.

This is another show I miss and always will! That 70's Show is one of the funniest classic shows I've ever watched. Donna & Eric were the perfect tv couple. Jackie, Kelso, Hyde & Fez's drama was beyond humorous. And of course, Red & Kitty Foreman would have been the BEST parents to have growing up! I don't ever recall a dull moment in this show. Almost every episode was hilarious. And the fact that it was based in the 70's made it 123456789 times better!

In my opinion, this is one of the most hilarious sitcoms that I have ever seen. I think that everyone in this show is absolutely hilarious. This show has an amazing cast that can make this show hilarious. This show stars Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon, Wilmer Valderrama, Danny Masterson, Don Stark, Debra Jo Rupp, and Kurtwood Smith. Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) make the perfect role as Eric's (Topher Grace) parents. Everyone is hilarious in this show but the characters that crack me up the most are Red (Kurtwood Smith), Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp), Kelso (Ashton Kutcher), and Fez (Wilmer Valderrama). Bob (Don Stark) makes the perfect role as Donna's (Laura Prepon) father. Jackie (Mila Kunis) is a very pretty and funny girl. Hyde (Danny Masterson) also makes this show keeping it going with the humor. The character that I really dislike is Eric's sister Laurie but I am happy that she isn't in every single episode. This show also stars Tommy Chong as Leo but he was only in "That 70's Show" from Seasons 2-4 and then he returned in Season 7... Leo was only in this show from Seasons 2-4 and then Seasons 7-8... too bad he wasn't in Season 5 or 6 but I'm glad that he returned in Season 7. Season 8 wasn't the best season in this show but I don't get why everyone makes such a huge deal with it. I find most of the storylines in this show to be hilarious. I just didn't like that Kelso and Eric were both gone all Season 8 long but the show was still funny even though Season 8 isn't the best. I'm glad that Eric and Kelso returned for the series finale though. Overall, one of the most hilarious sitcoms I have ever seen. 10/10

That '70's Show focuses mostly on Eric Forman. The Scrawny, Teenage, "Dumbass", 42 pound weighting, loveable "dork" (as some people would say). The show focouses on Him and his girlfriend Donna Pinciotti, who are thinking about there future together. The secondary Characters are Michael Kelso, Steven Hyde, Jackie Burkhart and Fez (Foriegn Exchange Student). Kelso and Jackie have on again-off again relationships, just like Hyde and Jackie. Fez struggles with his love life and his virgintity until season 5 where he losses his virginity. In the later seasons Kelso inpregnates a girl and gives up on Jackie, he then gets a job at the Playboy Mansion in Chicago. Jackie and Hyde break up after Hyde gets married when he was drunk. Jackie has feelings for Fez in the last season after Fez gives up on her. Eric moves to Africa and Donna moves on. I forgot to mention Kitty and Red, Eric's parents who are very bad parents. Kitty smothers Eric way too much and Red is way too hard on Eric, he calls him a dumbass every day.

That 70s show is an AWESOME show!! Watch it.

This is our generation's Happy Days. Filled with funny characters, hilarious (and sometimes dramatic) situations and a (semi-)good deal with accuracy, That '70s Show never dissapoints it viewers. The greatest character on the show is Fez. He's basically the most cartoonish one out of the whole cast. But, that's what makes him so funny. Sure, season 8, to long-time fans, sucked, but the show was always watchable and entertaining until the very end.

My only beef with this show is the timeline of the show. It ran for eight seasons, yet the show is set from 1976 to all they from New Year's 1979?! (That's about four years!!) But, luckily, it dos'ent compeltely ruin the show. I give it a 9.5 out of 10!! HELLO WISCONSIN!!

  • This is why I think That '70s Show is the best sitcom ever...

    10
    "Perfect"
I'm a huge fan of sitcoms, but I'm from Poland and, sure, in here we have a lot of them, but believe me - since the first one in its 1997-2000 run, there were only three of them worth watching (first Polish sitcom - "13 posterunek" ("13th Police Station"), Polish version of "Honeymooners" and "Świat według Kiepskich" - more surreal version of "Married with children"). Anyway, few years ago I started watching American sitcoms - some of them were broadcasted in Polish TV, such as "Wings", "All Together Now", "Full House" or "Friends". Then the Internet came and change my life - it is the only way for me to watch "Happy Days" or "Seinfeld" etc. I remembered that in the past Polish TVN had a show called, in translation "Pink 70s" - that is "That '70s Show", but we had only two seasons. After I found out that this show has 8 seasons I was really surprised and started watching it again, beginning with the very first episode. After a short peroid of time (I watched like nine episodes/day) I watched all of them. To me it is obvious that this is the king of the sitcoms. Reasons:

    - every episode from "The Pilot" to the last episode of season seven is funny, but not like in others shows - where there is a story and some good jokes with occasional hughe-laughs one. It's just so, so, so funny - great dialogues, great characters, great casting (Red, Hyde, Eric, Kelso - their faces, voices, etc. really suits their personalities)

    - its climate was the same throughout the series - same theme song, same cinematography, same characters (I mean their personalities)

    - entire episode from the first second is funny - and I know that for you, Americans, "Seinfeld" or "Happy Days" are classic, but to me - yes, they are great, but they didn't make me laugh so hard as t70s did, everytime I watch it - it is so full of humour.

Sorry for my English and for Polish sitcoms;)

    all the best

A classic groundbreaking original show set in the '70s. This probably wont change for as long as I live, but That 70s Show is and will always be my favorite show of all time. The dynamic of the characters are amazing, and the show never stops being funny.

It doesn't go downhill until the final season when the 2 main cast members leave the show, but everything else manages to be amazing and just original. I would like to think that That 70s Show crossed the boundaries of today's comedy, just as Seinfeld did with some controversial episodes which influences many great shows today.

The end of the show was great, from beginning to the end, it's just an entertaining ride, take it from a guy who's not even from that era and still likes the show. A great groundbreaking show, my favorite show of all time, that will never change.

    "Poor"
"That 70s Show" is a show that used to air on fox. Even though, I like the idea of making a show about the 70s. I didn't really me laugh. The show is a about a group of friends who live in the 70s. The characters in this are not interesting so, I better not waste my time talking about them. The show really has potential and I respect the fans of this show, I think I know what they like about this show. But, the show didn't really didn't make me laugh out loud and also the characters were clichéd. The character of Fez, espically because he is the negative cliche of a dumb foriener and I felt more sad than laughter when, the characters treat him that mean like. Oh, come on give me a break, they take conflicts like drug use and recessions and use this as jokes. But, I did like the use of split screen, the idea and I do admit at laughing a little. Overall original but, a disappointment. So just 4 out of 10.

I saw this show a couple of times with my cousins, and I instantly fell in love. I like alot of the references to the 70's in the show (especially the musical ones, big fan of that era of music) and I like the general humor as well as drama and emotion. I haven't seen too many of the episodes, but from what I've seen it's an excellent show, and I will definitly be looking forward to adding this show to my DVR list. Overall, a great show about the 70's, that I would definitly reccomend to anyone looking for a good show. 10/10 A+

It is hilarious and touching at the same time. At times you will laugh like a dumdass and other times you will cry like Kitty. This is still my favorite show. It is too bad it ended, I wish it was still on. This show could bring the laughs all day. The only downside was Randy, who was a minor inconvenience. Season 8 was still good, even if it lacked in certain departments. The adults and kids alike brought a special touch to the show. We are all sad to see it go. This show may have had certain downsides, but it is still the best show ever.

That 70's show. An awesome show, it's awseome in ways that I cant describe. I love this show sooooooo much. It's about Eric Forman, who I hate, but the show is still good, who is coping life with his girl friend Donna Pinciotti. Eric's friends come to visit every day and hang out at the basement, they are Hyde, a hippie who is completly against the government and IS obsessed with Led Zepelin, Jackie, a spoilt rich girl, Kelso, a dumb pretty boy and Fez, the Forien Exchange Student. We never find out Fez's real name or where he is from. Definetly watch it, super funny/.

That 70's show is a very fun show and one of the bright spots of the late 90's. The plots of 70's show are so orignial and "universal", (for the lack of a better word) that the time period becomes irrelevent. I discovered the show in the summer and I never laughed so hard. Kelso, Hyde, Eric, Donnna, Red, Kitty, FEZ, and yes even Jackie are all extremely funny. The Character of Eric is like me, lanky, weak, but a smartass. The character Red is on of my favorite "TV Dads" his catchphrase "I will put my foot up your ass" always makes me burst into laughter. Sadly like all shows, it started to get stale and did not in a good note. But the classic episodes of That 70's show always makes me laugh.

  • That 70's Show was a brilliantly written teen sitcom, that was absolutely amazing for the first 5 seasons. Season 6, was still great but it seemed like the writers weren't sure what do do after they graduated high school. Season 7 was good. Ssn 8 sucked.

    9.0
    "Superb"
Now, I feel most qualified to review this sitcom because I watched it from the original airing of the pilot on August 23, 1998 all the way to the end, and I still catch the reruns from time to time. I've probably seen every episode at least 10 times, to the point that I can watch any random episode of the show and quote lines before the characters even say them.

Seasons 1-5 were flawlessly funny, and the show just seemed like it could go on forever. Most people say that the show went down hill in Season 8, but you could start to find chinks in the armor as far back as Season 6. At the end of season 5 they graduated High School, so I really believe that the writer's weren't exactly sure where to go with the characters after that. In season 6, they replaced the actress who played Eric's sister Laurie. The girl who replaced her sucked big time, just could not act at all, and honestly they should have just written Laurie off entirely rather than replace her. Heck, I would have even accepted them just forgetting Laurie ever existed rather than getting that lame actress that replaced her. Also, season 6 is where Eric's mom Kitty's character became just completely over the top ridiculous when they had her develop menopause. Then, they had the whole engagement fiasco which went on into season 7. Basically, season 6 is where the show began to lose its focus on having fun and had too much drama on relationships. Season 7 is where the show I think truly jumped the shark. Hyde discovers his long lost black dad which makes no sense, and gets a black half-sister as well. Eric decides that to be with Donna, he must go to Africa for a year to help him get into college. It was a completely ridiculous storyline. Also, Donna goes blonde. Season 8, is where the show just completely imploded. Hyde marries a stripper for seemingly no apparent reason, Eric is gone entirely from the show, Kelso leaves after like 3 or 4 episodes, then they introduce the Randy character to fill the void Eric left, and it failed miserably. Randy had no back story, he wasn't funny, and it really just seemed like the writer's forced him down our throats. Randy just shows up and becomes the leader of the gang for no reason. The other characters just accepted it, which before season 8 would never have happened. The only character that hated Randy was Fez who I think really portrays what the fans thought of Randy. Even Hyde wimped out to Randy. In the early seasons Hyde would have hated Randy's guts and beaten him up. Also speaking of Hyde in season 8, when did he become the voice of reason??? Hyde spent 7 seasons being the rebellious, conspiracy nut/thug then all of a sudden in season 8 he's the voice of reason who tells Jackie/Fez to reveal to Donna that they wrote the letter to Eric saying Donna cheated on him. In the earlier seasons, Hyde would have laughed at this situation and thought it was funny and would not have done anything to fix it. Next, brings me to Bob. Bob had Midge, then JoAnn. I was cool with that, but after season 6 he dated Brooke Shields who just didn't really seem to fit the 70's Show mold. Then Midge came back, and basically he just became a confusing mess. Essentially the show was amazing for the first 5 seasons, or until they graduated. After that, season 6 was not quite as funny... it seemed like the writers were trying to figure out what to do now that the characters were out of school. Season 7 was better than season 6 and just as funny as seasons 1-5, and Season 8 was watchable, but in comparison to seasons 1-7... season 8 sucked. There were only two good things to come of Season 8. In the final episode they ended the show right, and tied up all the loose ends and brought back Eric and Kelso. Also, they brought back Leo and finally gave us a back story on Leo and more storylines that centered around him. All in all, That 70's Show is my favorite comedy show of all-time and even in reruns is timeless and still makes me laugh after seeing all the episodes like 10 times. Seasons 1-7 were amazing and this is literally one of the only shows that for 7 straight seasons was freakin' hilarious and didn't skip a beat. I highly recommend this show.

    "Perfect"
The show, though created in 1998, focuses around six teenagers-residents of Point Place, Wisconsin-between the years of 1976 and 1979.

The six main characters are Eric Forman, Donna Pinciotti, Michael Kelso, Steven Hyde, Jackie Burkhart, and Fez: The Foreigner.

Most of the scenes in the show are shot at the Formans' house. Eric Forman (Topher Grace) is your average guy. Not that good looking, smart-ass to his father, and he sucks at sports. Somehow, he got the athletic, pretty neighbor girl, Donna Pinciotti. (Laura Prepon) Eric's father, Red, (Kurtwood Smith) is a World War II veteran, so obviously he's a tough guy and is disappointed my his son's weakness and unathleticness. He's got some funny lines, and is most known for his "foot-in-ass" jokes. His wife and Eric's mon, Kitty, is a nurse that does most of the cooking and cleaning around the house. She has her moments where she can burst out laughing with her famous, weird laugh and then she can go into depression like she did in Season 5 when she learned she had menopause. Both parents were pretty funny, although if Red was a real-life father for a son like Eric, it'd be hell for him. Eric also has a bratty sister named Laurie. She was in the show the first two seasons, then she just started making recurring appearances every once in a while, by two different people. I hated her.

Donna's parents were kinda worse. Her father, Bob, (Don Stark) was an embarassing father with messed up hair (so messed up, that the characters, who were set in the '70s, even laughed at it. That's how bad) He ate a lot, but he wasn't really fat. Donna's mom, Midge, was your average idiot. Blonde, Midge tried her hardest to look smart as she believed that a woman could do anything that a man could do. But she left Bob in Season 3, I believe, only to come back in Season 6, prior to the marriage of Donna and Eric. Midge was kinda funny, but she was really hot, so that kind of blocks out the average humor.

Steven, (Danny Masterson) mostly referred to as his last name, Hyde, was one of those guys who really didn't care about anything, didn't bow down to the popular ones, and always wanted to take down the authorities. He was my favorite character, because I think I am most like him in those traits. People who think that they should be bowed down to are stupid. I'm not one who gets all sobby and stuff over anything. His mother left late in Season 1 and the Formans took him in. Later on, though, two people claimed to be his dad. His real dad showed up in Season 7 - a black man, and then later found out he also had a sister. They ran a records store together.

Michael, (Ashton Kutcher) also referred to by his last name, Kelso, is the dumbest person in Point Place. But unlike other shows where they make the dumb character TOO dumb to a point where they're really annoying and unstandable, the writers of That '70s Show made Kelso dumb in a way that makes him hilarious.

Kelso was in more stints of relationships with Jackie Burkhart (Mila Kunis) than I have fingers and toes. They constantly broke up and were such a hilarious couple. But Jackie got annoying to me when she would boss him around, even though she was the youngest of the whole group. She fit better with Hyde because he would rarely listen to her ridiculous demands. She was pretty, but to me, she wasn't that much prettier than Donna, although she kept making fun of Donna throughout the whole series for being, nearly giant. Or maybe it was just that Mila Kunis is a tiny person. Mila wasn't the hottest girl on the show, either. It was Brooke, who we saw from Seasons 6-7, as she was a part-time librarian who also attended school at Point Place. Kelso got her pregnant in the bathroom at a concert.

Then there's Fez. (Wilmur Valderrez) He's the foreigner with the accent that most people pretend like they can't understand during the show although I can understand him clearly. (They exagerate the accent, obviously.) He has some really funny lines - a lot of them are weird, though, to the rest of the gang, so a lot of them don't get any laughs following. Some don't get laughs either because they don't understand him or they don't think it's funny because his joke is an old American joke that he just learned.

Some other characters during the show include Leo. (Tommy Chong) He's a hippie that's also just messed up. To Red's surprise and impressment, he's a war veteran, also. He's the same example that I gave with Kelso. Dumb, but hilarious. He ran a store named Fotohut, which is where Hyde worked from Season 2 and beyond to maybe about Season 4 or 5. Randy was an addition to Season 8 because Topher Grace left for the season to take part in a Spiderman movie. He worked at Hyde and Angie's (his sister) record store and also became the boyfriend of Donna. He was annoying and his jokes were not funny at all. Lame.

All-in-all, the great parts dominate the few annoying parts in order to making this my favorite show all-time. I have every season on DVD, and one of these days, the disc for just one episode is going to be worth thousands, which is how great I think That '70s Show is. More proof? This review has reached exactly 940 words. There 'ya have it.

this is hilarious. i would recommend it to anyone that's able to understand the jokes( "Why don't you talk to her?" "Well every time I look at her I feel-- I'll be right back, I have to go to the bathroom.") Anyone that gets it will laugh, I guarentee it( unless you are a kid and think everything is wrong and disturbing). Watch it! you won't regret it.

  • Probably the best show ever made.

This is one of my favorite shows, if not my favorite show. It's clever, and funny. All the characters are very likable, even the ones that you really should hate. I really have no problem with this show, except the eigth season, which I'd just like to forget (except the final episode and The Final Goodbye). Fez has an awesome accent with his high voice, but he started to lose the accent and the high voice towards the end of the seventh season, and all through the eighth season (a season that I've already said I'd like to forget). The only character I don't find likable at all is Randy, he became part of the gang way too fast, and seemed very cocky. But, I just prefer Eric.

  • Great comedy

One of the best sitcoms of all time in my opinion. I enjoy the many twisted scenarios that the characters get into with the entire 70s thing going on. The show does put a lot of emphasis into the dating scene, but as a teen based show I am not surprised. The thing is this show will provide you with incredible laughter and interest. Out of all the shows I have seen, there are not that many that I can watch a marathon of and continue to feel thrilled. This show adds humor and entertaining comedy many fans should appreciate as a late 90s gem.

That 70s show was my perfect comedy show. I liked all of the characters.Eric the funny geeky guy. Red the hard ass dad. Kitty the protective housewife. Fez the funny (horny) foreign guy. Hyde the cool kid who had his own way of things. Donna eric's love she was down to earth. Jackie the girl with a huge ego and unintentially mean. Michael the dumb guy who didnt get some of the conversations. It was hilarious to watch especially the time period was well picked. The actors worked well together and you could tell they had fun making this show. Good fun!
