i originally thought that this show was so awful and annoying because of its constant 80s references just like most people. however, since i discovered that someone put up several episodes on youtube, i took a chance to view the show again and actually liked it. the show seemed to get better the longer it went. it became more about the characters, which were intriguing enough, and less about the 80s. i just think that everyone hated the first episode and ran away from it screaming. people don't realize That 70s Show was almost the same way when it started with constant references to the gas shortage, Nixon, and Disco until they abandoned the intense focus on the 70s in the second season. Fox made it a pariah by putting it alone on Wednesday nights, so i don't think it got a fair shake. had Fox nurtured it by running it right after That 70s Show, it might would have done better and another season could have really given it enought time to turn in to a great show. There were some pretty good actors on this show : Glenn Howerton from It's always sunny, Brittany Daniel from Club Dread, and Chyler Leigh from Grey's Anatomy.
