That's Life (1976) was a BBC television series that aired from 1973 to
1994. The purpose of the program was to promote consumer protection.
Each episode, host Esther Rantzen would expose safety issues with many
products that were on the shelves in the United Kingdom. Often other
safety issues were brought on the show as well, including why it was
important to keep your child in a car seat until they reached a certain
weight. The show aired on Saturday nights and had a strong following of
parents that were concerned for the safety of their children.
