Better as a Miniseries?
I am an American living in the United States. All of the television shows I watch are... "time delayed," meaning I don't watch them when they originally air. Let's say, for argument's sake, I subscribe to Kabletown and have a DVR and watch shows whenever I get around to it. This is exactly what's wrong with the current ("current" meaning from the 50s on) paradigm of American TV: I don't watch commercials. (My doctor told my I can't watch commercials because they literally rot my brain. I've had CT scans, MRIs, fMRIs, PET scans and they all point to significant loss in brain function when watching commercials.) This is coming from someone who majored in graphic design (looking to advertising and marketing) in college. I love TV and have a love/hate relationship with advertising. Probably the worst person to have in a ...Read more

How Do You Make The 100 Better?

If we take the time machine back to 1979 we if the convergence of many interesting things-- personal computing is taking off, Van Halen released VH II, Led Zeppelin releases its last stuido album, Apocalypse Now wins an Oscar, and of course Gore Vidal, Bob Guccione, Franco Rossellini and Tinto Brass consipred to meld Adult Fair with High Art in a biography of Roman's greatest libertine and madman Gaius Lulius Caesar Augustus Germanicus (aka Caligula or "little boots")-- and it would become the gold standard in the melding of art and porn for more than quarter century until Lars Von Tier put forth his Puzzy Power Manifesto and turned the Dogma 95 movement in a feminist progressive erotica movement... But before that we had Caligula,it was chockfull of stars: Helen Mirren, A Half-In-the-Bag Peter O'Toole (I've been a fan since I first saw Lawrence of Arabia ...

Biological Warfare...

The grounders must have antibiotics and antivirals. Otherwise using biological weapons would be really stupid. Imagine unleashing hemorrhagic fever on your enemy and not having a cure? That is the problem with biological weapons. You need advanced medical knowledge to use them correctly other wise you end up infecting your forces along with the Enemy...

So, I want to know how the grounders plan to use biological weapons without being victims of it. In the middle ages they used to attempt use infected corpses with plagues (and so on). The problem with it was they often infected themselves handling the corpses. Why? Because they didn't understand how or why diseases were transmitted. Now, in the Grounders case even if they understand the transmission of disease they are powerless to effects of them without: anti-viral or antibiotics. If I were the grounders I would stay away form diseases. But let ...

If Any One Can Explain Why The Grounders Are At War With New Arrivals From Space-- Please Elucidate Me ????

I am being totally serious here people. I for one cannot see any way the Grounders could see 100 kids landing within their territory as being a major act of war. It would be like seeing a bunch of drunk college students at a beach as being a sign of an amphibious invasion force is coming soon. So, if anyone has any real information cough it up! I slip it people so we can talk about it!

A Pretty Face Won't Save You Now The 100...

So, in an epiphany last night I found the key to making The 100 more interesting to watch and far more appealing in the long run. We all know that merely tantalizing the audience with the allure of teenage lust will soon fall flat. We all know that too many ...Read more
