Part 2
AIRED:
Virginia is hiding from the Troll kids at her grandma's, while Tony is busy with his new servants. The Trolls are still trapped in the broken elevator, and they are trying to find a way to break "the spell" they think Virginia cast on them. Wolf finds Virginia and Prince at her Grandma’s. He tries to eat Virginia’s Grandma but decides he can’t when he meets Virginia. Virginia escapes with Prince by pushing Wolf through a window. Wolf then visits a shrink to try and decide if he is in love with Virginia or if he just wants to eat her.moreless

I have the dvd and saw this on TV. Im not sure where exactly this chapter ends. The Trolls kids are great in this chap. One of my favorite scenes in this movie is with them in this chapter. Its the scenes with them in the elevator. They think Virginia is some magical witch when she tricks them into going into a broken elevator and locks them in. Bluebell is my favorite. His line "I think we're in her pocket." Cracks me up every time! :) You also begin to see another side of Wolf here but he still seems bad. He tries to eat Virgnina Grandmother. But when he sees/smells Virginia in person he falls in love and decides he cant go through with killing them. but of course Virginia isnt an idiot and barely escapes with Wendell in tow (Grandmas ok too).moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (4)

    • Tony gets 6 wishes from his magic wishing bean. They are: I wish that you and your entire family would kiss my ass and be my slaves forever; Okay Wishmaster, give me a never-ending supply of beer; I wish I had something that would clean this apartment, and I would never have to lift a finger; Hey Wishmaster, how about a million dollars; I wish I could escape from this police car, right now; I wish I could understand everything this dog is saying.

    • Wolf reads several books that were recommended by a psychiatrist. Known books mentioned are: Breaking the Cycle (How to Survive in Spite of Your Parents in the novel); Heal Yourself in Seven Days (The Courage to Heal in the novel); Stop Blaming Yourself Please (When Am I Going to be Happy in the novel);Help for the Bedwetting Child; Women Who Love Men, Who Hate Women (Women Who Love Too Much in the novel); Iron John; Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway; Curing why I'm so Miserable (What Do Women Want in the novel); and How to Marry the Girl of your Dreams.

    • Oddly enough Wolf dislikes dogs: in the mini-series he says, "Oh, I hate dogs" when Virginia refuses to leave Prince in the Snow White Memorial Prison. In the novel adaptation, Wolf says: "A dog is a wolf crossed with an old pillow. They are tail-wagging slipper collectors. And wolves can be shot on sight in his miserable kingdom. "

    • The map of The Nine Kingdoms is a modified map of Europe.

  • QUOTES (8)

    • Relish, the Troll King: You will dance for me. And when you're finished dancing, you'll tell me how to invade your kingdom.
Virginia: You know, I'm not much of a dancer... really... actually...
Relish, the Troll King (picking a pair of metal shoes): You'll dance when you wear these... (he puts the shoes in the fire) Wake me when they turn red!

    • Mrs. Murray Sr.: Master... I think there might be someone trapped in the elevator... I can hear voices and banging...
Tony: Yes, but you know what? I don't know if you've noticed but I'm no longer Mr. Fix It, so why don't you get your rich behind out there and fix it yourself?
Mrs. Murray Sr.: Oh, at once, Master.

    • Wolf (caught by Virginia while he is in the middle of attempting to cook her grandmother): Oh boy, oh boy! You're fantastic. Your picture doesn't do you justice. Wow. Oh, no. (looks at the meat cleaver in his hand) How did this get here? (Drops the meat cleaver. Virginia tries to flee to the bedroom door, but Wolf blocks her.) No, no. Oh no. By the way, where is the dog? Sleeping in, if I know royalty. (Blocks Virginia from the other door and smells her hair.) Oh, you smell great. I've had little teasers of your scent before, Virginia, but in the flesh... perfumes are not for me. No. I respond favorably to the audacity of a woman who flaunts her own aroma. And you Virginia, you smell like Sunday lunch.
      Virginia: Keep away from me.
Wolf: Beautiful eyes, beautiful teeth, all the right stuff in all the right places... No doubt about it, I am in love!

    • Prince Wendell: Happy ever after didn't last as long as we'd hoped.

    • Dr. Horowitz: Now, I'm going to give you a word and I want you to say the first word that comes into your mind, okay?
      Wolf: Game, yeah.
Dr. Horowitz: Here we go. Home.
      Wolf: Cooking.
      Dr. Horowitz: Coward.
      Wolf: Chicken!
      Dr. Horowitz: Wedding.
      Wolf: Cake.
      Dr. Horowitz: Dead.
      Wolf: Meat!
      Dr. Horowitz: Sexual.
      Wolf: Appetite.
      Dr. Horowitz: Love.
Wolf (gasps): To eat anything fluffy! Sorry. Sorry. More than one word. Start again?

    • Wolf: (singing) Shepherdess makes quite a mess, but little lambs are lovely.

    • Wolf: But you don't understand, I won't be here next week!
Dr. Horowitz: Uh-uh-uh, you're not going to intimidate me with suicide threats.

    • Wolf: Doc, I met this terrific girl and I really really really like her. But, the thing is...
Dr. Horowitz: Well, come on, say it! Say it!
Wolf: I'm not sure whether I wanna love her or eat her.
