  • Quotes

    • Narration at the beginning
Narrator: This story deals with the Paratroop Unit of the United States Forest Rangers, a few years ago when the service was new.

    • Dean Jagger: narrating It is in all these vast areas that the United States Forest Service stands guard against Man's carelessness and Nature's destroyer fire. Thunderstorms like this carry life and death. Rain to build giant trees and fire to destroy them. Fire that burns so hot it races across tree tops, its called a Crowning Fire, that desolates hundreds of miles. But no matter where the smoke rises our trained firefighters hit the trail. On foot, packing on horses or by truck. Where there is no road, they hit the silk for man regardless of the deadly person on this, always jums in to defend his birthright, the land and its product. The Paratroop Core has earned its right to existence, but it takes alot of hard training and steel nerves to develop a Smoke Jumper.
