Thats the way it goes unfortunately. The 4400 is by far the better of the 2. Not sure why Heroes is still going as I thought season 2 was very poor whereas all 4 seasons of the 4400 were excellent!

Agree 100%, except Heroes is a million times worse, with actors who can't act.

That's quite a stupid statement. Why is Heroes still going? Cause it's a huge ratings success: millions of people watch it and it's profitable.

    The 4400 sadly...wasn't.

    Quality does not guarantee profit.

I thought that as well, and I think 4400 is far better. Heroes is a good show, don't get me wrong, I just think the way the story was presented and the characters were better. the 4400 definately went downhill though, but I would have liked to have one more season.

I really think the Heroes stole the Idea; I think it is an ok show not as good as the 4400; the 4400 story lines were better, the possibilities endless, and such a long wait between the first and second season to end it like this. At list one more season or a couple more episodes, they left it at a moment where all the followers wanted more... Let's all stop watching U.S.A network until they bring it back.

2 shows I watched that are not as popular as they should be.
The 4400 has the best season finale ever and Battlestar Galactica which has the best opening ever. Both of these series as very good but do not get attention they need from TV Execs.

That's why MC Hammer is broke.

But to be fair, Heroes is about ordinary people discovering extraordinary abilities. The 4400 is about light people being drugged by future people.

That's being a little too fair.... while they are different shows in their own respects, they both deal with destiny, conspiracies, family issues involving their situation, involve a 3rd party organization trying to direct the future, both started around a message from the future (or painted of) of a major catastrophic event, the virus story.... not to mention the main characters have a lot of similar abilities... the only real difference I can see is 4400 seems to have a dose of politics and Heroes tries to keep a comic book meets real life feeling...

I watched Heroes than 4400, and the deeper I get into 4400 the less I look forward to Season 3 of Heroes....

u know the premiere episode steals 2 story lines from the 4400. nathan believes he is like jordan collier and mohinder discovers a serum which gives you super powers. all i gotta say is heroes will do it better . lol nah i'm kidding, both shows are good, i love all super hero shows i don't care how similar they are.

I had not heard of "The 4400" when I started watching "Heroes".

I watched the entire first season of Heroes and thought it was ok. Then I started watching the second season and I felt nothing for the show. It did not grab my attention so I gavge up after the first couple of episodes.

Then I heard about The 4400 and I downloaded the first season and could not stop watching nor download the other 3 seasons fast enough!!!

I loved The 4400. In my opinion, while similar, it FAR exceeds Heroes.

I thought the ending was an adequate wrap-up - though I really would have liked to have known what Toms ability was!!!

I think the right thing i would be cancell Heroes after a poor Season 2 and let The 4400 for a Season 5

So, uhh, I find Heroes much better. The acting, the writing, the cinematography... Everything about Heroes is better than The 4400. Now, don't get me wrong, the 4400 was awesome. I just can't see myself re-watching the series. It was a great story, and I'm glad I saw it, but I don't want to watch it again. Heroes is something I can see myself revisiting over and over again.

There are certainly tons of similarities between the shows, but if you're going to accuse Heroes of stealing from 4400, then you'll also have to accuse 4400 of stealing from comic books.

The whole people with abilities thing has been done to death, but somehow both the 4400 and Heroes gave a fresh spin on the genre. The next time someone does the same we're going to hear all about how Whatever-Show stole it's ideas from Heroes. It's a never ending cycle.
