Lockdown was a really great episode of The 4400. I enjoyed watching this episode as a sound only men seem to hear causes them to become more aggressive, NTAC goes into Lockdown, while Lily suspects the Nursery worker Ruth is in on secret tests being conducted on Isabelle. She was kind of creepy when Lily found those cards mixed in with childrens cards. I think even Richard began to suspect some thing when he saw how Isabelle interacted with Ruth. Maia has come down with fever and rash, and Shawn appears to get the same thing. I look forward to watching the next episode to see what happens next!!!!!moreless
  • One of the 4400 found a way to affect men and uses it to mark the death of Jordan Collier.

    9.1
What a fantastic episode and what a great intro. Diana and Tom, aiming a gun at each other, the silhouettes of two guns aimed at each other against a light background, pure camera and lighting brilliance!!

Kyle has a lucky break for once as his lovely lab partner really seems to like him and they end up sleeping together.

Finally, some good news for Kyle.

It seems at least one of the 4400 is clever enough to stage an attack on NTAC and get away with it. She also seem to be a supporter of Jordan Collier so that promises no good for the future.moreless
  • Great episode

I loved this episode. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I loved that they started at the beginning and then worked there way back.

I knew is was the Asian girl, but I can't figure out why she did it. Why punish NTAC for what happened to Jordan Callier? They didn't have anything to do with his death.

I screamed when they shot the head of NTAC. Did not see that one coming.

    Great episode!

Does anyone else become reminded of X-Files when they watch this show?moreless
  • That's right, I gave it a ten! This is the best episode of the series to this point!

    10
And I say "To this point" because the next two episodes picked up where this one left off and just shot for the stars. You seldom see something like this on television, where you don't exactly get all the answers... just like in real life. The bad guy gets away and the heroes are too busy picking up the pieces to really worry about it.

The opening was just so intense and then Tom pulling the gun on Diana... the shots of the gym were just fantastic and Diana struck me as this beautiful, imposing brick wall between her daughter and harm. I love seeing how close they've gotten, so much so that Diana is going to protect Maia come hell and high water. And the little yellow dog was a very cute touch ;-D

The series best episode, in my opinion, although "The Fifth Page" and "Mommy's Bosses" are certainly in the running as well. It's a good sign that the last three episodes are among the series' best. It makes me look forward to Season 3 with bated breath!moreless

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Tom: She's gone. A 4400 who nearly took down a fortified government facility and walked away without breaking a sweat!
Marco: They got a name for that?
      Tom: Yea, terrorism.

    • Nina: (to Tom) You're in charge until I'm released. Pull whatever manpower is still left walking, start picking up the pieces.
Tom: Don't worry, I'll take care of it.
Nina: And you get that head looked at.

    • Dr. Hudson: If I start to go crazy can you… take care of me…? In the back of the head!
Diana Skouris: You won't even see it coming… Dr. Hudson?
Dr. Hudson: I just gave you permission to blow my head off. You can call me Max.

    • (after Diana gives Lemon to Maia)
Nina: I'm guessing you don't have a stuffed animal for me? Maybe a fifth of Jack Daniels?

    • Maia: Mommy, I'm scared.
Diana: I know, baby. I'm scared, too. But it's gonna be okay, 'cause Mommy's here. Okay? Whatever's coming through that door… (raises gun) I'll protect you.
(Tom breaks down door and pulls a gun on Diana)

    • Diana: Thank you for everything.
Dr. Hudson: No, thank you for not putting one in the back of my head.

    • Diana: My mom always wanted me to hit it off with a cute doctor, but make another move and I will pull this trigger.
