  • Person on beach with beard at very end of episode Mommy's Bosses

Who was it with the beard and scraggly hair at the water's edge (I think where the 4400's came back to) and how do we know Jordon is alive (because he was missing from the casket) maybe somebody stole the body? Did I miss something?

Mommy's Bosses was a perfect season two finale of The 4400. I enjoyed watching this episode because it was full of suspensful drama, intrigue, and a lot of great information was revealed. Dr. Burkoff has created a cure to get rid of the promicin inhibitor after meeting Isabelle. I really like the way the writers weave every thing together. This episode gives us the info on how the 4400 powers work, see's Dr. Burkoff take the first step to changing the world, and Isabelle transforms and visits Shawn. The other 4400 start to develop abilities now that they are not being inhibited. I look forward to watching the next season of The 4400!!!!!!!moreless
  • Not impressed.

This is an example of how to tie up many loose ends on a series in case it's not picked up for another season. Not a good example, just an example.

The many conspiracies introduced during the first season and strung out (waaaay out) during this season are all tied up with plain brown paper and tied with a string. Of course they left you with a couple of teasers for those who will return to view the program out of curiosity rather than seeking quality programming.

This show was so impressive out of the gate and had so much potential. It's as if some really creative writers begat their great story to some tv soap opera writers who are trying to break into the sci-fi/drama field for a change of pace.

Who couldn't guess that a body that went missing a few boring episodes earlier wouldn't resurface? Who wouldn't speculate that this anti-climactic ending hit the snooze button for more to come later?

On the positive side, now I won't have to try figuring out how to work my cable so i can record this show while watching another. I'll simply just tune into the other program and give my TiVo a break.

this was a very cool episode that really showed what it means to come clean on two sides. on the Operation firewall front and the frnt of Kyle coming clean with the fact that he killed JOrdan. this had great charachter development and movment. the episode seemed to move really fast because i looked at teh timer for my DVD and it only seemed like a few minutes and it said thirty minutes through and im like NOOOOOOOO! but i really loved this episode and the thing that Maia said about a war being started really stated about what has been going on between the relationship of NTAC and the 4400. i hope the third season is better!moreless
  • The discovery about NTAC and the virus makes a huge impact.

What an absolutely magnificent season finale!!

So many storylines were wrapped up and still some question are left unanswered with some new surprises thrown in for good measure.

I loved how Ryland was arrested and turned from good guy into bad guy.

I also loved the little flashes at the end of the episode.

Collier is still alive, bearded and well, meaning the flash of Kyle confessing a murder will probably be end up well, he can't have murdered Collier is he is still alive.

I liked the Shawn and Maia bonding and I loved the bit about Richard's ability. Isabelle being grown up was a surprise too...moreless
