ADD TRIVIA- The home of Murdock's pet, Herman, is a box that reads "Blue Tip Matches. Strike anywhere. 1977 Ohio Match Company. Wadsworth Ohio U.S.A. 44281." The Ohio Match Company, which made Blue Tip matches, closed in the 1980s. The matchboxes are now considered collectibles. Edit
- Goof: When Murdock says, "Hold on to your feelers" to Herman, the matchbox in the background reads "Blue Tip Matches" from the top to the bottom of the box, and there is no "Herman's Home" tape on the box. In the next shot, a close-up of the box, the writing reads from bottom to top, and the "Herman's Home" tape is visible on the box. Edit

ADD ALLUSIONS- Murdock: I'm Donny (gestures to BA) and this is Marie. An allusion to Donny and Marie Osmond, the famous singing siblings who are part of the Osmond family. They presented two shows together, both called Donny & Marie. One was a variety show (1976 - 1979) and the other a talk show (1998 - 2000). Edit
