  • TRIVIA (3)

    • Hannibal: (on the phone with Tawnia) There's a doctor at Bad Rock named Maggie Sullivan. Get her here.

In the episode "Black Day at Bad Rock," the A-Team met Dr. Maggie Sullivan in the little town of Bad Rock when she stitched up B.A. after he'd been shot in the leg; later, she performed a transfusion between Murdock and B.A.

    • Goof: Just as in an earlier episode, "The Battle of Bel-Air," the building used for the exterior shots of Tawnia's apartment is the Mirabella, located at 10430 Wilshire Blvd. However, in that episode, Tawnia's apartment was nearly ten stories up. In this episode, her apartment appears to be on the ground floor, as an outdoor pool is visible through the window.

    • Murdock's Shirt says:
MINDS are for people who THINK.

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Kyle: Where's Smith, Peck?
Face: You know, that's the beauty of it. I haven't the slightest idea. I never do, really. He's a real mystery. A walking riddle. Yeah, he might start dropping bombs on you guys, and on the other hand, he might just show up as a nun. I can't tell.

    • Murdock: How'd they get you?
Face: Well, I hate to admit it. They lured me with a girl. I feel so easy.
Murdock: Could be worse. I fell for a dog.
Face: Well, at least mine was pretty.

    • Sharphook: You make a sound and I'll chew you up.
Murdock: Does that include all sounds or just words, 'cos sometimes when I'm nervous, I make this little sound in the back of my throat.

    • (hearing the explosions)
Face: It sounds like World War five.
B.A.: Hey, man, it sounds like Hannibal!

    • Murdock: (going through the obstacle course) I guess it's too late to ask you guys to bust me back into the VA, huh?

    • Hannibal: (to Kyle) Now the next time you think you want to take somebody out, pal, don't get yourself a squad. Get yourself a team.

  • NOTES (2)

  • ALLUSIONS (5)

    • Hannibal: As they say in Fairbanks, "Mush!"

Hannibal is referring to dog sled racing, which is often associated with Alaska, thanks to the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. However, while "mushing" is a nickname for dog sled racing and dog sled drivers can be referred to as "mushers," "Mush!" is rarely used as a command; the preferred command for "Go!" is "Hike!" Also, while Fairbanks does host major dog sled races, the Iditarod is not one of them; the Iditarod runs between Anchorage and Nome.

    • Hannibal: Get your hands off him, doctor, unless you want to start healing thyself.

Hannibal is alluding to the saying, "Physician, heal thyself." It has been a proverb for centuries, but first appears in print in the Bible. Jesus quotes it in Luke 4:23, which reads, in part, "Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself" (King James Version).

    • Face: (to the bad guys) Thanks for your support. Send our best to the Third Reich.

The "Third Reich" was a synonym for Nazi Germany; the Nazis used the term to describe the German regime from January 1933 to May 1945. The Nazis considered the "First Reich" to be the Holy Roman Empire (A.D. 800 to 1806) and the "Second Reich" to be the German Empire from 1871 to 1918.

    • Hannibal: (Looking at the red Ferrari) Looks like that's our chariot of fire, all right.

Though the 1981 film Chariots of Fire is probably the most familiar use of this phrase, it actually dates back to the Bible; in II Kings 2:11, the prophet Elijah is separated from his protégé, Elisha, by a "chariot of fire"; Elijah is then taken up to heaven in a whirlwind.

    • Face: Nice place. Did you ever see Psycho?

Face makes this comment as he pulls up to an old motel. He is referring to the infamous Bates Motel featured in the 1960 suspense/horror film Psycho, directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
