This episode is not great A-Team. Though it's easy to look back and see where it evolved from what made good A-Team.
It has a barely there plot, it's there enough to hang repeated action scenes upon it.
It has people utilizing everyday items as weapons, which is what the A-Team used to be about.
Filled with all that nostalgia and lots of interesting side characters, the episode moves at a brisk but mostly eventless pace. The characters we know and love taking a mostly back seat to new and unique individuals, side characters with one episode potential.
So, it wasn't great A-Team, but it was okay Grey Team. Unfortunately, it was the last A-Team episode, so that little distinction becomes rather tragic.
