The 57th Annual Academy Awards were held on March 25, 1985 from the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Los Angeles County Music Center. Jack Lemmon hosted this year's event. Performers included Debbie Allen, Ann Reinkind, and Ray Parker, Jr. Among the presenters were Lonette McKee, Gregory Hines, Glenn Close, Jeff Bridges, Jennifer Beals, Steven Spielberg, Shirley MacLaine, Kelly LeBrock, William Hurt, and Linda Hunt.
