John Astin, Carolyn Jones and Ted Cassidy are the only cast members to appear in all 64 episodes.

The Addams's apparently have old furniture cluttering their attic. But in "Halloween, Addams Style", Morticia mentions that Cousin Cackle once lived in the attic!

When Fester lays down the chalk line, Lurch isn't on the stairs. However, when he is rung for, he is standing on the stairs, with chalk on his legs, as if he'd been there the whole time- which he hasn't!

In the begining of this episode, there is a rope to call Lurch- OUTSIDE!

When Gomez calls Cousin Itt down, they explain he enjoys being in the fire-place because of its privacy. But in "Morticia's Romance Pt II", Itt looked for Gomez in the fireplace, and they told him it was dangerous because one spark and he could've gone up in flames.

Goof - Factual Error: Of the 26 people who died in the Salem Witch Trials of 1692, none were burned (as supposedly happened to Great Aunt Singe). 20 were executed by hanging - actually the most common form of execution for witchcraft - one died being questioned under torture and five died while being held in jail waiting for trial.

In all, fourteen women and six men were hanged; over 175 were arrested and jailed.

In this episode, they bob for apples by means of a see-saw. In the first season Halloween episode, they bob for the (live) crab.

Morticia mentons Cousin Cackle used to live in the attic, but in "Morticia, the Decorator", the attic is filled with antique furniture, presumably leaving no room for Cousin Cackle.

Margaret Hamilton will be forever remembered as the Wicked Witch of the West from the 1939 film The Wizard Of Oz.

During the scene where Gomez is speaking to Cousin Itt up the chimney flu, a poorly timed shot of soot struck actor John Astin in the eye and required him to go to the hospital.

Gomez is shown here to be a hypochondriac (a person who constantly thinks he is sick when he really isn't), but is cured whenever he is around Morticia.

Mother Hester Frump, Morticia and Ophelia's mother. is played by Margaret Hamilton, cinema's most famous villainess, the Wicked Witch of the West from 1939's The Wizard of Oz.

In this episode we find out that the moosehead with the twisted antlers is named Pierre and that his other half is used on the opposite wall as a clock, his tail indicating the hour and half-hour. As Gomez says, "It's not everyone who gets to see themselves as others see them."

In this episode, the wolf clock was supposely kept in Pugsley's room, but in all the others, it's in the living room!

Morticia accuses Fester of being drunk, but in "Uncle Fester's Illness", Fester says he doesn't drink!

In this episode, we learn Thing's complete name: Thing T. Thing. Yes, the middle initial stands for "Thing"!

Uncle Fester: "Morticia! You know I don't drink!"

Apparently not, in "My Son the Chimp," Morticia accuses Fester of being drunk!

As Lurch's mom is leaving, Thing waves goodbye to her from a hole in a tree. You can see the arm inside the tree.

Hazel Shermet, who plays Cousin Melancholia, is best known as the voice of Henrietta Hippo from the syndicated kids program, New Zoo Revue (1972).
