Another fun episode of Brisco County Jr.

Man, how many shots can the two sides fire without hitting anything. How about all of them. Not a single fighter on either side of the final battle fell. Only Aguerro was killed when he jumped into the exploding wagon.

We get to see the lovely Kelly Rutherford as Dixie Cousins who just happens to be in Mexico entertaining the General. Of course her relationship with Brisco starts right up where it last ended.

Even though Brisco is suppose to retrieve the rifles in the end he has to destroy them to make sure they don't fall into the wrong hands. He does managed to redistribute the wealth while depriving Pete Hutter played by John Pyper-Ferguson of the guns and the money. They explain that Pete was gut shot in the episode he was killed and only is in a lot of regular digestive pain.

All around the same tongue in cheek humor of all the episodes. Something not quite as sharp about this ones plot and overall idea so I dropped the episode score by half a point. Thanks for reading...moreless

This is a more serious episode than those around it. It is also one of the rare episodes that does not feature Julius Carry as Lord Bowler.

It also features Kelly Rutherford as Dixie, the first time she has been seen after the Pilot. I wasn't too sure about her accent, it seems slightly forced, but she's a likeable enough character.

Also returning is Pete, who explains that he wasn't actually dead in the Pilot (even though production-wise he's already been seen since in 'Socrates' Sister'). I like the running gag of him returning alive, but personally think it is funnier if they never explain how.

I like the opening teaser, unrelated to the rest of the story, where Brisco and another man are cheating each other at poker, with a number of cleverly hidden cards.

The main story is, for the most part, generally more serious than some of the other episodes, with less out-and-out comedy moments (though there are a few). But that's not a bad thing, as it makes for an interesting story.moreless
