On the handheld device Sheen has in the beginning of the episode, it says "Ultra-Lord Demoliton!" But when Jimmy asks him to play baseball he says he is playing "Ultralord vs. Robo Fiend!"
The electricity wouldn't have gone out when Thomas Edison was in the present too long. Thomas Edison invented direct current (electricity used in flashlights; batteries). It was his rival that invented alternating current (electricity with cords and such).
When Jimmy falls down the tree, the voice communicator he was holding to make Thomas Edison's voice falls to Jimmy's side. Edison picks up the communicator at his own feet!
In the shot of the outside of the Candy Bar (before zooming in on Miss Fowl and Thomas Edison's "date"), Brittany is walking off screen with Butch. However, inside the Candy Bar, just before electric things stop working, she's dancing with Nick by the juke box!
Marconi nor Edison was the first to invent the radio. The true inventor of the radio was named Nathan B. Stubblefield, and he invented his in 1892. Also, according to the supreme court, the inventor was Nikola Tesla.
Nobody "founded" electricity. Benjamin Franklin just discovered that lightning was made up of electricity when he flew his kite during a storm.
Sheen: Cool! I've never met a dead guy before!
(Jimmy knocks on Cindy's door)
Jimmy: What am I thinking?!
Jimmy: Hey, Carl, would you like to assist me in a test of my modified Nuclear-Powered Pogo Stick? I call it the Mega Hop.
Carl: (doesn't take his eyes off the TV) Uh, no thanks, Jimmy. I'm kinda busy. I'm watching the Llama Channel. They're showing When Good Llamas Go Bad.
Guy on TV: Who's a pretty llama? Who's a pretty South American, cud-chewing (the llama bites the guy's hand) AAAAUGHHH!!
Jimmy: Mom, Dad, I want a little brother.
Hugh: (Spits out drink) Jimbo! Baby making is very...complicated.
Jimmy: Dad, it's not complicated, really. It's basically conception right? Then a 9 month gestation period.
Hugh: La la la la! (continues on as Judy tries to talk over him)
Butch: Yeah, right. And maybe mutant tree frogs will rule the world.
Jimmy: Mom, Dad, I have an announcement to make.
Judy: Ooh, tell me now if this involves any principals, policemen, or government people.
Jimmy: Nope, not this time!
Edison: Hovercar? What the rooty toot's a hovercar? (Later) I'M IN A HOVERCAR!! Whoo-hoo!
Brobot: Jimmy's got a girlfriend! Jimmy's got a girlfriend! Jimmy's in love! Jimmy's in love!
(Sheen and Carl stop suddenly on the Bat Outta Heck, hanging upside-down)
Carl: Why have we stopped moving?
Sheen: They probably wanna build up the suspense!
Carl: Okay, all the blood's rushing to my head....
Sheen: Mine, too! This is awesome! Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo! Hoo! (dizzily) Hoo....
Edison: So, you're Cindy, eh? Well, listen up, chickypoo! The radio wasn't invented until 1893! Couldn't have happened without my electricity neither, but did anyone send me a Thank You note? No, they did not!
Jimmy: You just take this ticket and hand it to the bus driver, and then you go One Way!
Brobot: Haha, neat! (hops on the bus) I love this game!
Jimmy: Me too!
Brobot: (rides off, giggling) One Way, One Way, One Way...
Jimmy: We have to get you back to the lab!
Edison: Oh, no. I ain't goin' back! (spins around on his skates happily) I like this new-fangled world of yours ... and I got the hots for Winifred, too....
Jimmy: (quickly) No, see, but you don't understand. If I don't--Winifred?
This episode was the plot for the Cine-manga book The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius: Tinkering with Destiny.
This episode can be seen on the DVD Confusion Fusion and GBA Video Jimmy Neutron Vol. 1.
Edison: Well, knock a hundred points off my IQ and call me Tesla!
He is referring to the scientist Nikola Tesla, a prominent rival of his.
The Candy Bar: Music
The music playing in the Candy Bar when Thomas Edison and Miss Fowl is an instrumental version of "Earth Angel" by the Penguins.
There is also a robot named Brobot on the show Samurai Jack
The Big Pinch: Plot
"The Big Pinch" is similar to the episode of The Fairly OddParents called "Twistory."
The Time Pincher: Appearance
The Time Pincher itself seems to be based on the Tardis -- a time-travelling police booth -- of Doctor Who fame.
Retroland Ride: Bat Outta Heck
The ride "Bat Outta Heck" is a spoof of the Meat Loaf song "Bat Outta Hell."
Sheen: (playing his UltraLord video game)
When Sheen plays his UltraLord video game, the handheld he's playing it on looks exactly like Nintendo's Game Boy Advance (in indigo).
