Episode Summary

Jimmy becomes frustrated at school when his scientific lecture is disregarded in favor of making macaroni sculptures. So, when Dean Cain, head of Pomona School of Advanced Physics (a.k.a. Pomona SAP), offers him a chance to enroll in that college to help them win a science grant, Jimmy eagerly accepts. He soon finds, however, that college is a completely different world from elementary school ... a much more challenging one. And when it comes to jealousy of Jimmy's knowledge, Cindy (left behind at Lindbergh Elementary) doesn't hold a candle to new classmate Seymour. When Seymour tries to get Jimmy expelled, he fails and ends up getting expelled himself.moreless

I dont know why this series is being cancelled, I loved this episode it was so funny, Carl and Sheen where great in this one funny as usual.moreless
  • Jimmy gets promoted to college. But a classmate, who is very jelous of Jimmy, trys to get him expelled!

I liked this episode alot but it wasn't my favorite episode. I loved the parts where Sheen and Carl were trying to get into Jimmy's college by dancing, TPing and yelling "Toga". My favorite part was when Carl asked if togas were edible. And the part where Sheen crused the can on his head and burped... classic.
  • Yeah, it's pretty good.

I just saw this episode five minutes from writing this review! It was pretty fine. I enjoyed Jimmy trying to catch that big-nosed nerd out. It starts well and ends well, when Cindy releases the atomic particles that bounce all over the place. And the ending when Jimmy returns home and gets covered in itchy fleas!

And that cheeseray made me laugh my head off. It was so funny that a ray can turn something into cheddar. And Jimmy's ant-gravity remote thingy is also funny too. So, I liked this episode. It could of been better because in some scenes I was a bit bored.moreless
  • all right

This episode didn't have a lot of interesting humor and other stuff. This is one of those episodes where Jimmy get's insulted by people and has bad stuff happening to him most of the time. Don't expect perfect. It was allright. Not really my favorite episode on the list. d

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (4)

  • QUOTES (8)

  • NOTES (0)

  • ALLUSIONS (10)

    • The six quarks in particle physics are up, down, top, bottom, strange, and charm. Their names came about from the sake of convenience

    • During the class, Dean Cain makes references to Spingarn's theories. In reality, Jed Spingarn, however, is an important member of the Jimmy Neutron team.

    • Music

The music that Sheen played on the radio that he and Carl dance to and yell TOGA! TOGA! TOGA! is The Kingsmen's version of the hit song written by Richard Berry "Louie, Louie"

    • Dean Cain: Neutron!!

This is a reference to The Jetsons. George Jetson's boss, Spacely, would yell at him if something goes wrong and was George's fault.

    • Students: Graystar

The punk/rock/metal band Graystar can seen in this episode as college students in the college class that Jimmy goes into. Jimmy even speaks to and gets a reply from quite a few of the members of Graystar. The first one that he speaks to is Chelsea Wilcox, Dylan Wilcox's (the lead singer) sister.

    • Dean Cain: Name

Dean Cain is a reference to the actor Dean Cain most famously know for being Clark Kent on "The Adventures of Lois and Clark."

    • Music: "Kicks"

The Tune of the music Carl and Sheen were dancing to (thinking they would get into Jimmy's college that way) was the tune of a 60's song entitled "Kicks" by "Paul Revere and the Raiders".

    • Sheen and Carl: TOGA! TOGA! TOGA!

This is a referance to the movie Animal House where they shouted the same chant.

    • Jimmy: (Censoring with EXIT Sign)

When Jimmy is censoring himself with an EXIT sign, this is reminiscient of an episode of the UK comedy Mr. Bean, "Mr. Bean In Room 426," in which the title character is locked out of his room with no clothes on, using an EXIT and Private sign to censor.

    • Dean Cain: James! Stop this crazy thing!
Dean Cain is talking just like George Jetson (from The Jetsons) when George takes Astro for a walk, then Astro chases a cat, causing George to get stuck on the mechanical floor.
